I agree with you to a large extent. Better was one of the songs that my non - Gn'r- freak friends liked best (studio). In a live setting, most of my pals preferred IRS & The Blues when they played it at the '06 &' 10 gigs in Belgium. Must say Axl's vocals were top level too. 👌 I hope we will hear some new songs that have him wailing like yesteryear. 💪

Most classic sounding are the verses on Better. Without the weirdness of the intro & bridge, you know - a bit of straight-forwardness- Better had a chance to appeal to a larger audience. 

Atlas sounds TWAT style-promising. Quality seems to be better than the HS-rip we got earlier this week. Guitars on Catcher definitely make me want to hear the full thing in HQ format. 😁

Tighten up the song by cropping the intro and the pace killing bridge, let Slash or Bucket go berzerk at the end of the song,  drop the synths + update the vocals and I believe frequent radio play is within reach. 👍

On a side note, almost cost me an argument with my gf as she was using my laptop and I rushed to it to immediately download the thing off YT. She reasonably thought I was desperately trying to delete some homemade video of me that someone had just uploaded. After I explained the whole thing she was still legitimately confused but we managed to enjoy the song together, thankfully.

Okay, didn't look any further. After a few minutes of doubt: same guy, so it's a (convincing) fake. 😭

I'd say it has some of the higher pitched characteristics in the midtones while his UYI voice was pure gravel. I'm still willing to believe this might be him. And I actually like the melody. Someone better rip this from YT just in case. 😂🎶

No idea what this is, but most def an excellent impression if fake... 

Ashes to ashes would have been interesting with his 90's "You ain't the first / Bad Obsession voice. 👌

So glad I decided to  attend both a 2006 & 2010 show... still. His live vocals and energy were top notch despite not having Slash & Duff there.

Most 'regular' people wouldn't be able to do anything memorable because of the sheer jetlag. Let alone perform when you 've been puking your guts out. I 'm not uncritical at all, but Axl deserves no slight for cutting the set short this time.

Was it raspy?  Again, almost loving the cult surrounding these songs more than the material that could potentially surface. 

This one's just not for me. The remix album seems to use the same approach/beats/sounds for most of the songs. Acquired tasted I assume, but I don't think this would have been commercially successful. But more joy to those who actually dig it.

Ask was great, they all gave everything they had. GMM is not an easy crowd and people around me were very enthusiastic. 

People kept on crowd surfing, including a small dude that got tossed and a guy in a wheelchair.

That wheelchair guy was awesome! And indeed, for a Belgian, usually quiet and sceptical crowd, athmosphere was great. We started the chants whenever we could. 😁 Vocally 2006/2010 & AXL/DC concerts were more solid, but this is the most fun I had on Belgian soil during a Gn'R show. Band gave it's all, and it didn't go unappreciated.  Even the press was really positive. Being almost front row didn't hurt either. 😎

I was in doubt whether to go or not & ultimately couldn't make it because of work. Regrets... It seemed like the ultimate opportunity to meet Axl and Duff in a relaxed atmosphere... 1 mile from my doorstep.  😭😢
