Grohl magically showed up to bring him the chair again. It was cute seeing Axl and Slash sing SOYL together.
-
Sounds fine to me

He’s referring to the fact that this gig got canceled twice in a row. Once in 2020/2021 due to Covid, and once in 2022 due to Axl being sick.
-
Most of those will probably be played.

I love how slash looks so happy to be there whereas Axl looks like he just woke up. whether this is for new music or just tour mixing, it’s interesting to see slash so involved with the process. A lot of people think he became “just an employee” when he rejoined in 2015, but I don’t think that’s necessarily the case.

I’d like to take back everything I said here. The reason I was theorizing that there may be more than six songs in total is cause some of us on a discord server were being fed info from someone that seemed legit at first, but then one of us did some digging and found out that this supposed “insider” was really full of shit (using photoshopped pics to make it look like they knew Axl, etc.). CSI:GNR is insane, man… You know what makes this even funnier? Beta recently retweeted something from this guy that was pretending to be an insider. Even she fell for it! That’s our management, folks… For what it’s worth, the guy was claiming that Axl really has like 60 songs and that he was just waiting until his deal with Sanctuary expires in 2025 to release most of them.

A thought I just had: Maybe there’s actually more songs with vocals than we realize, and the six or so they worked on during Covid are just the ones they’re planning to release “for now.” If it is true that some songs are being saved for later, that would explain why there’s been no sign of atlas. You’d think that woulda been the first one out the gate, but maybe Axl wants to save it for a more “meaningful” project. Another possibility is that, if there are other songs with vocals, most of them are probably just “scratch tracks” like State of Grace, Nothing, Quick Song, etc., and therefore unusable.

The other day Meegan was streaming and for some reason Beta walked over and told her to stop.

Unless Beta stops her (again)

2023 WORLD TOUR
rocknroll41 replied to Stay.Of.Execution's topic in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
Pretty sure Blink-182 just released a one-off single for their reunion tour this year, though I could be wrong, and maybe it’s part of an album that they’ve also been working on. I don’t really follow Blink anyways. That said, The Stone Roses also released a pair of singles around their reunion tour and that was it. SOAD also released a pair of singles in 2020, though they couldn’t tour that year due to Covid, to be fair. -
So brownstone is back?

Apparently it was only ever skipped twice before (once in 1993 and once in 2022). See above. -

Is this the first time brownstone hasn’t been played since it was written? -

Watch us find out that perhaps was played while all the streams were down
