I am, yeah. That said, I’m still not really sure I believe any of this stuff. Life at roughly our intelligence level or lower existing in other solar systems and/or other galaxies? Sure. But life advanced enough to come all the way here without us knowing and crash multiple times (mostly in America)? That I’m not so sure.

Apparently another “source” is corroborating this report and saying that the US has at least a dozen spaceship and at least one alien body: I don’t believe any of this, mind you, but it’s still fun to see/ think about. EDIT: apparently the pentagon and the New York Post have now debunked all of this, so I guess that’s the end of that!

I had totally forgotten about this one but then the other day I listened to the village sessions for the first time in years (the perhaps and general teases got me excited), and I rediscovered how great curly shuffle was, as well as mustache, Tonto, etc.

Sadly, this could be possible. That said, Duff kinda implied a few years back that they wanna be like the stones and keep touring well into their 70s. If they do make it that far, though, they’re definitely gonna have to change things (down-tune the songs, play more acoustic sets, etc.).

For context: someone posted a YouTube video of evader’s general as a thread on the subreddit, and then Fernando responded to the OP saying something like “this used to be a great place for fans, and then you had to go and fill it with this raw sewage.” See above

Andy Wallace mixed the album, right? Did he mix the two new singles? That might be the root cause…

In 2022 they didn’t tour in America, correct? I think 2021-2022 counted as one tour, and now 2023 counts as another tour.

Yeah i do wonder why Axl abandoned the rest. Makes me think that he really didn’t do many studio vocals post-Village.

Beaven said recently that he’s pretty sure they’re gonna do an album now, so maybe the plan changed? If we do get an album, I imagine like half the songs will be covers/remakes.

Brain confirmed that Seven is a ballad he wrote and that it’s based off Julius Caesar. It has nothing to do with the movie Se7en, and the fact that he described it as a ballad leads me to believe that it’s not Zodiac.

Realistically, we will probably all move on to trying to wish other “big guns” like Seven, Berlin, Zodiac, Soul Monster, etc. into existence. Same shit, different song.

Once I finish listening to it, I’m gonna do the same thing I do every day: 1.Play wordle and it’s associated games. 2.Play a round or two of solitaire. 3.Watch midday re-runs of Family Feud. 4.Make a snack by putting cheese (sometimes Muenster or sometimes mozzarella) on top of crackers and microwave it for a little bit so that the cheese is meltier. Sometimes I also use salt and pepper cause I have some and don’t know what else to do with it. 5.Watch new episodes of Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Family Feud, followed by an old rerun of Jeopardy. 6.Write in my journal so that I feel like I did something. 7.Go to sleep.

On the next episode of CSI:GNR: A fan at a show gets invited backstage and takes a pic with Fernando, who happens to be holding an atlas. People immediately speculate that it’s a sign. Then Beta untags herself from the photo on Instagram, thus further fueling speculation. This all culminates with either blabberbouth or alternativenation writing an article titled “GnR manager confirms new song is imminent, per rocknroll41” and then they take some post from me out of context (which they actually did one time).

And we’d all think Slash wrote it (either in 1996 or recently).

Yeah I was about to tell everybody to calm their titties because for nearly two decades we all thought Atlas was gonna be “the next November Rain,” and then it wasn’t.

The White Stripes, The Strokes, Royal Blood, Arctic Monkeys all come to immediate mind.
