  1. You'd want a refund on your view, eh 😸 That's a good fancy dress, where the fuck do I buy one?
  2. Kenergy....Slash just performed the song live 😆 Kenergy....Slash just performed the song live 😆 Kenergy....Slash just performed the song live 😆
  3. He's supported them before and they're friends and Joe too, so.....yea.... He's supported them before and they're friends and Joe too, so.....yea....
  4. Wasn't Brian a bit down on Axl and reductive on his merits when Ax replaced him....was that just the heightened emotions of the moment or does he have beef with Axl? Axl on the other hand, makes it well known it's the Bon DC he's a fan of....
  5. There ya go then! He has been working on Aero remasters, so perhaps that's what he was doing, or ST solo 2?
  6. Wasn't this album announced before then? I suspect it was mostly done before the GNR June '23 tour...
  7. You'd think he'd be on a track on the actual album if it was him....plus won't/doesn't he see this as a separate project to Guns and more importantly SMKC
  8. Agreed. That record had some great surprises on it....her version of Purple Rain actually may be one of thee best Prince covers ever! Especially with that song...she doesn't do half measures, Dolly! Full 8 minute soaring Verizon....
  9. Have faith...he's been outta action many times and always finds a way back....for what he's put his body thro, he's pretty fit for coming on 80! May have to put more gaps in but he'll complete the tour!
  10. Yea, perhaps....bit crazy when folk like Steven are this long In the tooth....I don't get it though! Stevens solo work isn't ok geffen or anything connect to the Aero world. Wasn't it "Big Machine"? So does his label have problems with features...these days, they're so common, almost every pop single is "with ft." So, I'd expect Tyler at 75, to throw two fingers up at stuff like, if he wants to do it ...
  11. Steven and Joe need to cut a new 'Smith record! At least one more....Steven's still got it!
  12. Guessing he cut this before Stevens vocal injury! However it is strange to have him available and not perform on a track vocally too...Steven loves old skool Fleetwood blues....maybe there'll be bonus cuts like last Slash N Friends... Fun video and track, good vibes! This kinda project is exactly the type Guns could try...writers block or apathy, Axl? No excuses not to do a TSI2 type...like an influences record as such. Perhaps Slash even suggested this project to redhead? 🤷
  13. Needs to bring an Ashba Swag truck and start getting rid of that stuff somehow... Bribe his way in? Or threaten to play Techno remixes at 11 until someone, gives him a spot on the "unreleased remix"
  14. Quite excited for this one, gotta be said! The Slash 2010 album has great moments on it and I'm sure he'll have some epic collaborations on this, not many would say no if he comes calling....he's super generous with his own features, so.... 100% he asked...
  15. How do we know his financial situation and did it get bad because of the pandemic and poor health, preventing touring...(his main income?) It would be nice if Axl (and/or the band) could look after him a bit...opening act role even would be a nice gesture on the next tour...a strange one but that would be kinda cool?
  16. When's the last time we had a "hot topic"....sign o the 2024 times....🧐 Is that a rare Slash promote, I hear? 😏
  17. I don't understand the argument for wanting old material with those that haven't been in a band for 10+ years on a album put out by the band we know now... Not that it shouldn't be heard in different scenarios or as "vault" releases....but it really needs to not be used in the album format as a Duff, Slash and Axl led project....they aren't gonna give there all to songs made by others and not from the ground up created as a current group. Singles and Ep's like we've kinda had, ok....that's ok...but... New album, basically has to be 100% fresh, to be any kind of a success. End of discussion....
  18. Aww, I'm gutted you never saw him live, I have many times written words full of superlatives about that experience in other realms of the internet and underground Purple groups...but I will simply say today....the first time was a transformative experience....I got there late - I only saw him live for the first time in 2014...then over the next 2 years, I saw him live 11 times...including, his last ever full concert at Paisley Park, exactly 3 months before he died on 21.1.16...just 2000 of us and P, alone with just his piano...we sat on purple coushins right in front of him, lit just by candles and smoke...it sorta felt like we were in the lap of the gods... We ate vegan food in the NPG Club in-between and then returned for the 2nd show in a more further back position, to give others a chance to sit at the front... He was more open that night with his life's journey than he'd ever been (according to those that had followed live since 1978) and it has to be released! We were photographed and filmed - whole event pro shot! It makes a perfect bookend to an early exit... Lots stays with me from that particular night but in particular, Bowie had just passed and this...kinda spooky that he would be gone 90 days later 🫤 He was singing "Free" from 1999, he sang a bunch of songs he hadn't done in over a decade during that last tour...and he seemed to stop quite abruptly, almost as he was really listening to his lyric he'd just sang... impromptu comment on how great a guy Bowie had been to him, even though he'd only seriously met him "once"... Both total out-there visionaries....seeing this photo makes me wish they had done something .... Then post those shows, started doing "Heroes" (paired with Dolphin) as a tribute...it's such a euphoric performance and sets the atmosphere for the 100s of tributes to him that would appear In proceeding months... Not sure I get through watching this one today but I'll link it (still never been able to press play on Atlanta to this day...)
  19. A latter day ballad classic... Prince called it his favourite song in his final years... Here's an early live version where, it honestly feels like we're a straggler that's found there way into a closed set, that was only meant for P and the band and by the looks of all their faces (especially Hannah the drummer and Ida on bass) they all know the meaning behind this song and the loss Prince experienced that influenced this song and how he's truly going for it in the last minute...voice almost breaking and quivering with emotion... It's better than the album version with the sublime NPG Hornz! Truly, a moment...he almost seems vulnerable here unlike any other time at the end...wiping his tears away... Not ashamed to say, it has moved me to tears before...I was lucky to hear him perform this rare song twice live...and no words! @D4NNY@Rovim @PatrickS77 @Fitha_whiskey
