  1. I always assumed it was about some chick  he was seeing who was into bondage and he's describing their sex life.

Panties round your knees with your ass in debris (sex in the bum bum)

Doin that grind with a push and squeeze (again, bum bum related)

tied up, tied down, up against the wall (bondage)

Be my rubber maid baby and we can do it all.

(I think this line is actually be my RUBBER MADE baby and we can do it all, I think the chick likes her rubber for these "sessions")

Maybe I've dated the same chicks as Axl 😳

(I thought bum bum was more polite than anal) 😂

Agreed.. I do love the Tokyo 92 versions but those 93 versions were beasts.   I think this is the first of the two Argentina 93 shows.. Slash incorporates a little "Oh Well" and "Train Kept A Rollin" into the intro.  Agree with most that it is a better live song than the album track..

This intro is shorter and two the punch but hits the mark in every way.. Top notch

The first video is the one I listen to most.... There's a couple of great DTJ from Germany that are excellent quality and beasts...

Each time I listen to these I think Duff was / is a great bass player. He was on the beat, never fucked up the changes in riffs, and kept up with Slash. While having ingested various substances.... I've played bars drunk and it's fucking hard to get it at the right level 😂 Duff my hat is off to you.....

PS: Glad you are sober, I certainly am.

x 1000!!! They got so much better at this song all around throughout the tour but that whole intro is still a mess..  That whole "woah uh oh oh ya ya" thing he does over Slash's intro lead just doesn't sound good..

It sounds terrible, it's trying to make something fit that doesn't. The timing is way off as is the whistle blowing at the start of the verse riff.

I do however love the crazy laugh he does at the start of the outro solo. 🙂

  4. Definition of rock journalism: People who can't write, doing interviews with people who can't think, in order to prepare articles for people who can't read.

Sounds like Mick thought he was in the band early in....

His books are TERRIBLE and inaccurate, his grasp of language is terrible, he gets fixated on crap (for example in the book about the doors he mentions 3-5 times that Jim Morrison liked anal sex and this made him a homo) just terrible sloppy journalism. Inaccurate & poorly researched.

His books are like a copy and paste of Wikipedia and forums like this.

But I do think he's telling the truth of how it went down with the interview and Axls "guns or knives" bullshit. Look at what Axl himself said about it on Shotgun Blues. Axl's all mouth and no bollocks, and his mouth is pure cringe..... You'd almost feel sorry for him while kicking his ass.....

The show got high praise so I downloaded PROSTITUTE thinking I wanted to hear the live version. Horrible vocals as usual. I wouldn't mind seeing them live again because the loud music drowns out Axl's mess ups. But this YouTube stuff....forget it. Sirius stuff..... forget about it!

I dunno man, you can't really form an opinion of an almost 4 hr show after listening to 1 song. The soundboard we got Wednesday night is the best that band has sounded since 93. Listen to the whole gig.

    None of them.

Neither Gilby nor Izzy have the ability to play like Fortus. They don't have his talent and his skills. Fortus is too good for both of them. It's just not the same level at all...

Fortus is a master. Even Slash is blown away...

Fortus is the Ronnie Wood of Guns N' Roses. He will be in GN'R until the end. PERIOD.

The Stones have been crap with Ronnie Wood compared to the band they were with Mick Taylor or the Brian Jones Era. I liked Woody in the faces but no thank you with the Stones.

Richard seems a good guy and is a great guitarist but bands have a sound made up of all the instruments at once,  and the band sounded best with Izzy. Slash said it best "his playing was so here and there and laid back"  It's not all about "talent and skill" it's more about feel and attitude. There's a difference between guitar players and musicians.

Off topic but my all time favorite drummer is Bill Ward.. That is one of the few bands where I listen to the drums almost as much as the other instruments. I was very skeptical that he wouldn't be involved with the 13 and End tours but Tommy Clufetos did a phenomenal job.. I just wish Guns could have found someone like him who could really do the songs justice. Much easier job doing it in Gn'R than Sabbath..

Clufetos did a brilliant job with Sabbath, I saw Sabbath live 5 times, once with Bill and the rest with Clufetos. I'm glad I saw the original Sabbath but (I hate saying this) they were better Clufetos. I'd love to have seen them with Ward late 60's early 70's. He was a great drummer then....

I like drummers like ward, he played the kit as an instrument, like Moon & Baker....

With all the drummers GN’R have over the decades, can you really tell the difference especially live? Like if you cant see who the drummer is, can you tell if its Frank or Sorum in most songs?

Have you ever been in a band? Drummers are a key part of a bands sound.

Adler - groove and punky, Sorum - More Rock, a bit plodding for me, Josh Freese and Brain were solid.

Frank's style is weird to me, it's not really like any other drummer I've heard. (Has anybody heard a similar drummer to Frank they can point me towards?) He was all over the place last year, but I thought he sounded good Wednesday night.

(Well , Better than normal) 😂
