A radio station in Boston said that they were going to play the new song on friday what happend.

Eight hundred other threads proved that the person heard the radio station wrong. Trust me, if something was played, there would've been a huge thread about it.

Fucking right, Jon Bon Jovi. I love his music and while he's being jealous, this still shows that Axl still gets a ton of attention over tiny little leaks of music. This just gives the release of CD another push. How? Even big names are talking about it now. Jealous or not, Jovi just did a nice favour to Axl if Axl is going to release the CD soon. Even more publicity.

Yeah, some of the song titles just don't sound poppy at all. "Prostitute" and "The General" do not sound like songs that will have piano in them. That's just me, though. Trust me, we haven't heard anything off of this album yet.

Nothing about the new music is bipolar at all. The music changes and is structured to conflict with how it originally started, but the lyrics themselves stay focused on the same subjects the whole way through. I could see if Axl was singing about lollipops and rainbows, then changing to death and destruction, but it's just the instruments conflicting with each other. That has no bipolar effect at all. Change of structure? Yes, but that's it.

Appetite was barely recognized the first year it came out, but look at it now. CD is as hyped as it could be at the moment and with the European shows, it is looking like it will grow even further, so the time to release it is now. Not soon, not replaced by a GH2, not 2007 for fuck sakes. The time is now.

This reminds me of something darknemus said back in the Fall. I believe it was just a rumour back then, but people within the "realms of GN'R" were supposed to begin to spread the influence of GN'R and try to get the band into the public again. That's if I remember it correctly. Mind you, it was supposed to happen within a couple of weeks back then, but perhaps it is happening now that the album may be actually finished? I have no idea to be honest. It just seems exactly what dark had been referring to months ago. Just a thought.

VR just tries to bring out another 80s sound, and it gets old. We'll see how they do on their next album. I like both musical styles of VR and GN'R, but VR's songs got old for me after the second listen. I can keep listening to IRS. I think it's because Axl actually sounds like a rocker, and Scott, well... doesn't.

Well, we've heard almost everything now. A bit of new material, Axl's various sightings, and Guns N' Roses now scheduled to play major shows this summer. Is an announcement of the release date all we have left to get? I would assume it's just around the corner.

Does anyone here can mail the novarock promoters and ask what will be the GNR line-up ? Is Bucket back? Pittman gone ? Is there a new guitarist ? Who knows?! ...
