Tryna work on my beach body. Eating healthy, no beer and more water, doing the exercises I can. But I need low impact cardio. Without getting out for long walks my adonis bod lays buried under a jiggly cushion of sour cream dip. Even my frantic, neurotic, apartment-pacing isnt getting the needed number of steps in! lol
Can anyone relate?
Yes .
My routine is out the window right now. Try to work out a bit (I do a program called Fat Attack *lol*), but I've been a bit sick the last few days.

Are you sure all measures will only last till April 13th, i'm not
I don't think it will be over by then, actually.

First we were quarantined indivdualy and now there is a nationwide lockdown (sort of).

It's been 15 days at home now. At least 18 more to go...

Today is day 14 at home for me and my family. Homelife, homeschool and homeoffice are okay. We've got enough space and a nice outdoor area.
My kids got sick too. Mostly coughing, feeling tired and sick. A few days later my husband got it. And now I've been dealing with this for the last three days. The kids are much better now, thankfully.
I called my doctor and there isn't any indication to test for Corona. And very likely it isn't Covid-19 anyway.

Day 7. Beautiful spring day in our garden. I am harshly judging all neighbours who are gathering in groups chatting. The rest of the country is on day 3. I can feel everyone getting bored and itchy.
I think I'm going to have a glass of wine tonight.

Thanks for starting this thread.
I have a garden too. What do you grow in yours?
Nothing, but herbs.
It's more like a little park with bushes, trees, a little hill and play stuff for the kids. Husband keeps it going.

Why are you in quarantine if you're not sick?
Precaution because I was in direct contact with someone who is.
-
Oh, I would love to binge watch. But with the kids it's not an option.
I've watched ST Voyeger twice. First time in the 90ies on videos sent from the US.

All the best to you. Fortunatly we're not sick (yet)

Hello everyone!
Who here is in quarantine?
I'm on day 3 and it's starting to drag. Maybe we can share some experiences, humor, etc.
Happy we have a garden. Otherwise the kids would start to go crazy.

good morning from the quarantine.
no job, no friends, no money, no leisure.
I'd rather die of Corona than starvation
I am a family counsellor, who visits families in their homes. One of my clients got tested today. Tomorrow we'll know more.

Anyone listen to Slash's Universal Horror Album? Its surprisngly cool. He does some not very "slash" guitar parts there, maybe because he has to restrain himself since he is just a cog in the machine, as opposed to being the main driving mattwr in the music
"The Danse of the Dead" is probably the best "song" as a whole
"We Belong Dead" he does some very unusual (for him) arpeggio after the whole dubstep thing, starting at 2:00. At first I thought he sweep picking lol but hes just picking everything
"Sweet Licks" he does some cool ambient guitar lead echo in the intro and throughout
I do and I like it a lot. Far better than anything SMKC.

Patiently waiting on Alan Niven's input on this... Ex GN'R manager has a theory...
Imho one of the more entertaining aspects of following this band are the ex managers.

I really think that there is more pointing to something will be released this year than the opposite!
BTW is not uncommon to book shows and schedule a tour before the album date is set in stone
If it weren't for Gn'Rs history I guess we would all agree the signs point to an album release in the near future...

Apparently The Smashing Pumkins anounced new music this year.

I don't like the stadium environment. I would only go if something special was going on.
Husband rolls his eyes heavily at my interest in this band and has zero interest in them himself, but he offered to go to the gig in Vienna with me. I didn't even ask. It's a four hour drive and he knows the tickets I'd want would probably be around 600€.
Imo that's one of the most romanic gestures any husband can make.

I'm not sure yet. It depends on a few things: new music, time available, price.

I have the Fox highlights thing on my DVR. I'm kind of dreading watching it
I've seen SCOM. It's not that bad. Not Rock in Rio 2017 bad.

In honor of the new 2020 Women's Chat I'm letting out my crazy, unressonable, fun loving, gossip girl.
Where to begin.... ahh the super crazy... Slaxl is alive...
You girls realize when Slash nowadays talks in interviews about the special chemistry that only happens with this certain combination of people, he's talking about him and Axl, right?
He repeatedly calls Gn'R his home or his wife and still compares his relationship with Axl to a marriage.
If you catch youtube videos of recent shows (even Miami) you can see lots of back touching. Axl often touches Slash and it looks like he tries to connect or enforce a connection.
I'm not one of those Slaxl people (Are there any men? Where's @Frey?) who think they are lovers bound for the altar, but I think there's a special chemistry or magic and it shows in th misic and performances.
I have some other crazy thoughts and observations, but save rhem for another day (when the Women's Chat need reanimation).
I really dug this place.
Oh P.S.: There seems to be a new fan video on YT of the NITL era. But they're using If The World, so we're not allowed to share here.

[...] When I saw the Snoop + Gnr photo it hit me the first time. These guys are getting old as fuck. Just call it a day if you're not planning to release any new material. Or at least come clean and stop fucking teasing us about it.
I honestly believe they (Axl) are planning to release new material and always have. But that doesn't count for much in this case.
Something will probably released someday. Soon is obviously not the word.
As for needing a new album to continue touring? I don't think that's the case.

I still really care, and I still have a lot of hope (for some stupid reason). We’ll see what happens tonight.
Well obviously I too still care, but I don't expect anything. At times I get a little bored, then I get hooked on something. Recently I caught a few live videos from 2019 and loved them!
I care about the leaks I've heard. Great songs!

Waiting for a new album doesn't make much sense imho.
I gave up waiting on Chinese Democracy and tada one day I realized it actually had been released.

Axl doesn't sound that great on Slither.
I disagree. I prefer Axl's take. Probably another unpopular Gn'R opinion of mine.
