Last video of 2022 is live
I am from Austria. Watching the traditional Neujahrskonzert is the absolut best on New Years Day.

My favorite song from 2003 is Blur's Out Of Time.
Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes was a huge hit and still is.
I loved De-loused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta. Probably my favorite album from 2003.

I think the song St.Anger is better than Hardwired, for sure. Not sure on where it stands against Lux Aeterna, though.
I know it's not a popular opinion (even JH seems to hate it), but for me St. Anger is the far better song. It at least has something interesting to say, presents an interesting concept, is emotionally congruent and has a nice structure.
I don't care for Lux Aeterna at all.

It seems pretty obvious that they've talked about writing a new album and that they want to do it.... Having said that, I don't expect it to come to fruition any time soon...

What stuck out to me is Slash's claim to know EXACTLY what the CD songs mean, because of how tight (obviously) his relationship with Axl has been. That's a bold statement to make imho.
I'd be interested what his interpretation of SOD is exactly. @RussTCB

Tuesday's video is live
I want to mention Tori Amos' Little Earthquakes followed by Under The Pink followed by Boys For Pele followed by From The Choirgirl Hotel. These Albums are as good as it gets and if you haven't already, I would highly recommend to check them out. All four of them are just fantastic.

I'm someone who theoretically would love to watch romantic movies or romantic comedies. I wouldn't even expect something deep or profound, just some lighthearted, witty, somewhat intelligent and swoony fun. Unfortunatly most of those movies are really, really bad and neither funny, nor particularly romantic.
It's a drag.

I will listen to "Streetwalker" more closely once more. I've not yet comprehend the enthusiasm it evokes.
Eta: I still don't get it. Maybe someday. "Throwing Your Life Away" I love.

New MJ video is out
I feel "Blood On The Dancefloor" is highly underrated. "Is It Scary?", "Unbreakable" and my favorite of his songs "Who Is It" also come to mind. Even "Liberian Girl" is underrated imho, because it's so good and nobody ever talks about it.

I still think there could be something coming.
- Slash said they will release some songs, they had worked on. He didn't give an exact number, but I got the impression he was talking about more than one or two songs. I believe they actually worked on those songs and that there were/are plans to release them.
- "The Spotify Thing" could still mean something. Probably not (something doesn't seem quite right), but nobody is sure of anything.
- There seems to be a new situation with the record company. Some things seem to be worked out by now.
- There is the unknown piece they soundchecked recently.

Not many Bands or artists promote their new albums/singles the way it used to be.
i don’t think HardSkool was badly promoted. Social media is what sells nowadays
They definitely could have done more, if they'd wanted to. Just look at how out there Slash is, when he promotes something.
