We're on a GNR new album thread for a non existent album which has well over 1000 pages. I think I'll speak for everyone when I say "we're all nuts for still being here". No problem if you think it's a sane way to spend your time though. Whatever gets you through the day! I think you, me and everyone who posts here is nuts though.

Couldn't agree more. I like this song a lot, but those are totally my feelings too. That email was ridiculous- "Mom approved" gifts. I could guarantee my Mum would NOT approve of her recieving a toy car, a Sweet Child Of Mine crop top, or a luminous November Rain hoody. I've no idea who buys that stuff- it looks like cheap bootleg stuff these days.

BST Hyde Park are known to actually give away free tickets - I've had them before for there - for shows that aren't selling. So there's always that potential. Other than that, I'd be amazed if it gets up to show day without some sort of offer. You can't lose by waiting really- the very worst that happens is they don't reduce them and you've not lost anything if you weren't planning on buying them at full price anyway.

On his recently deactivated Instagram account, he posted photos from New York City and Los Angeles." So looks like his accounts have been deactivated a while.

Well, if stuff is coming to court, and you don't want people trawling through your social media looking for absolutely any comment or interaction they can misconstrue, it would be a good idea. If it's GNR related (i.e. he's left) then why would he bother closing all his social media down?

Hasn't Frank got some legal nonsense going on about a house he's renting? His shutting his social media profile accounts probably relate to that.....

Yep, very true. I'm probably being a bit harsh as I have massively enjoyed stadium shows (GNR included), I just always wish they were Arenas instead!

Oh, the Pretenders have some good tunes in my view. I've got their Greatest Hits....but I'd say the likes of Volbeat and Great Van Fleet are far more popular these days. My 'cost cutting' comment was more around the fact they're only having one support act it seems. Two seems the minimum for Stadiums these days.

Hypothetically? Tomorrow. Realistically? Well.....I think you know the answer.

They seem almost to be self-sabotaging at this stage. What are they offering to potential ticket buyers? Big stage show? Nope. They stopped even the limited pyro. New show? Very unlikely- will more than probably be pretty much the same setlist. No new material obviously. New experience? Nope. Stadiums they've mostly already played. Rare chance to see them live? Nope, the tour has been round Europe/US for years now. Cheap prices? Nope. Big promotional push to sell tickets? Nope. I just can't for the life of me work out what they're doing to attract people. The 'casual fan' gets mentioned a lot on here, but what draw is there for a casual fan now? Doesn't seem to be any to me. As for ticket sales....well it's hard to know with Ticketmaster and their 'illusion of false demand' tricks. Norway got downsized is about all we know for sure. It does seem though that they're making less than zero effort to promote this tour or push ticket sales.

To be fair, most people on here haven't bought any!

A decent quality full length concert, commercially released would be a great promotional tool for touring. Why they don't do that is as beyond me as why they would be happy publicizing this dreadful sounding nonsense.
