I remember that weird models thing- they were hiring them in! I remember one of them talking at the time though, saying that they literally just got invited to watch the gig, and that nothing sexual was suggested or implied. I just don't see all this sex stuff going on really. It would inevitably be out there being talked about, and he seems to spend all his time time with Beta. I mean I've no idea obviously, but it doesn't seem to be going on.....

There's not really much evidence for that though- there's never any 'kiss and tell" stories or anything or even nany rumours around this stuff. It's a strange existence he seems to lead!

I don't really mean they SHOULD stop touring, as people clearly enjoy it, as did I on the last leg.....just if they did, it wouldn't matter like it would have mattered a few years ago. It would feel a lot more 'right' for them to split now than probably at any time in their history in my view. If there's no forward motion of course.

I have a sneaking suspicion that books may still be quite popular......

It's a good point that one - would any of us be absolutely devastated if they announced they had split tomorrow? They've done the big tour, we've all seen it (a lot have seen it multiple times) and barring small upticks (I thought the last run was way better than the 2022 one, which was pretty crappy) it probably is going to be diminishing returns from here on. Sure a lot of people will always take the opportunity to go and see them when they come nearby.....but would anyone be absolutely devastated at this stage? If there's no progress on new music it would seem to me splitting wouldn't make a massive amount of difference to a lot of people.

It was a good show last tour, but yeah, the price is putting me off, as well as my nearest venue being far too big compared to last tour. I'm hoping for a cheaper ticket nearer the date.

Glad you know him so well! I have no idea what he thinks, only that he seems incredibly private.

If (and big if) it's an autobiography, that would be something i'd love to read, but I'm not sure how 'open' it would be, given Axl's desire for privacy. I can imagine it might be one of those ones where you don't really feel you know much more about the person after you've finished it. I can't see him suddenly opening up on a massive scale.

Weird with the Manchester show - he played a venue half the size last tour and it didn't sell out! Would much have preferred him to do the same place..... Will probably still go, but makes me a bit less enthusiastic.
