  1. My guess if they are going to release anything it would be during the tour like they did hard skool and absurd. I would say if they hit that Montreal date and nothing new is played then we probably aren't hearing anything new this year.
  2. Most bands tour during the summer because the options are way more limited in fall and winter. Less venues to play since you can't really do outdoor shows in every area and the indoor venues have less dates you can book (because basketball and hockey start up) so it's way harder to plan a tour. And more artists are fighting for those free nights. I don't understand why so many people struggle with the concept that the band likes to tour. They get to travel the world, sight see, explore and play to thousand of people a few nights a week. What's not to enjoy?
  3. I have been to plenty of concerts that looked empty months before I went and then were packed when I got there. It's kind of the way the industry is now unless it's a really hot tour and band (like the 2016/17 tour). I am going to mudvayne/coal chamber in July and the venue looks even more empty than than MetLife and Wrigley and im going to see incubus in August and it looks the same. No seats sold. I'm sure both venues will be packed come concert day
  4. I don't actually like anything goes as it's a pretty trash song but it's one tner Axl can probably handle vocally and it's the only song from AFD I haven't seen them play live. So it'd be kinda cool to have heard the full album live. The demos on the afd boxset are way better than the version they released Live nation is the one that books the venues and the tour. Not the band.
  5. I never enjoyed Duff's solo work either. I do really enjoy SMKC but I know they aren't for everyone
  6. Yeah I forgot about the music he put out in 2016. Honestly I never really liked his solo work. I mean it's fine, definitely not bad by any means but I find it pretty boring too. Meh.
  7. I saw the Smashing Pumpkins headline Rock on the Range maybe 10 years ago and literally the entire stadium left during their set outside of maybe a couple thousand people. Literally the concert could have been held in a club rather than a large empty stadium. It was extremely sad because the band was pretty decent I thought.
  8. I just want GnR to play a festival near me so I can get up and close without having to pay insane prices to get in the pit lmao. Was really hoping they would be at louder than life or sonic temple this year since I can get to either in under 12 hours but it wasn't meant to be! Going to louder than life anyway!
  9. Probably just from people playing the greatest hits album
  10. My bad i didn't mean you personally. Just in general. I was half asleep lol As for this lineup I don't think it's a great lineups but it's a good one at least. I would watch all the headliners and the price you pay for the whole fear would probably still be cheaper than a pit GNR ticket so I think it'd be worth it for that alone.
  11. Q I've been to firefly festival multiple times in Delaware which is festival that books all different types of musical acts. Rock, pop, hip hop, edm, etc. And it's always a blast. I love all types of music. Not just rock. It's fun to see a band like GnR who has mass appeal play to am audience they might not play to every day. Expand your musical horizons you know? There's tons of great music out there across every genre.
