  1. Thanks for posting about the shirt from Primark, I was by one the other day and stopped in and grabbed it. It's actually really nice quality. Love the design too
  2. We finally did it! The new album was released!! Woo Funny I just realized it's only on one LP instead of the two with the special hologram etching on the D side. The whole point of spreading the album over two records was to give it a better sound and the hologram was actually one of the cooler things I've ever seen a band do with a record. They are scrapping all of that and charging 16 dollars more to boot lol. What a joke.
  3. Whoa I never heard of this before. They played every song off of CD too except for Riad I wonder if anyone sung This would be fascinating to see
  4. Axl didn't tour in 2008 when Chinese Democracy was released. They don't need to tour to promote an album and they don't need an album to promote a tour. The industry doesn't work that way anymore. Nobody buys music. It's not 1991
  5. Totally agree. I absolutely love his vocals. And the lyrics are really interesting. Really catchy chorus. I love the music. I love everything about OMG. It's probably in my top 20 GnR songs. Maybe top 25. I loved it in 99 and I still love it today. I never saw reason for a rerelease. I wish the whole album sounded like OMG
  6. I like Myles too I think SMKC is just a low drama band that Slash can go and play smaller venues (which I believe he has said in the past he likes more) with his friends and just have a good time. I think the band has come out with some great rock songs too. Definitely enough to fill a setlist. We aren't talking the greatest rock band of all time here, but definitely one that Slash and Myles can be proud of. Looking forward to the next time they tour.
  7. We need people holding giant signs that way "play perhaps" out in the pit
  8. So first the show was the same. Now it's obvious that it's been changed. Why is it always the most negative take instead of being grateful that Slash Axl and Duff are all healthy and on stage together and a fairly active band. They could be like Led Zeppelin and not have performed a show in 40 years. They could be like Pink Floyd and have been at each other's throats for 40 years and never regrouped. They could be like System of a Down or Rage Against the Machine and only get together for a tour once every 10 years. They could be like the Ramones and everyone could be dead (rest their souls). 10 years too late is certainly better than never. I think it's awesome that every couple of years I get the chance to go see the band live. Every time they have added songs to the set and changed the production (even if not totally). The prices are affordable (I paid 99 dollars for a GnR floor ticket this year where Tool is charging 400 dollars for a floor ticket here) and the band generally puts on a great show and will play for 3 hours and give it their all. Even if Axl doesn't sound like he did when he was 45 years old. There are bands I love out there who tour way less, like Avenged Sevenfold and play a show half the length, like Avenged Sevenfold. And Tool is only playing 10/12 songs during those concerts that they are charging 400 dollars for. GNR fans can be a miserable ungrateful bunch.
  9. Please show me a setlist in 2017 or 2021 which was the same as this last show.
  10. Dino is a cool guy and an awesome guitarist. Saw Fear Factory earlier this year and he was at the merch booth after the show meeing fans and giving photos and autos for free. Not charging VIP meet and greet prices like other bands. Awesome band
  11. I never seen a fanbase get so upset when their favorite band goes on tour. I wish my other favorite bands would tour this much. Would be awesome.
  12. Wow all the websites are running with this news. I doubt any of this was intentional but it's kinda gonna force GnR to release this single lol. Clearly with what Duff said and now today something was in the works but I wouldn't be surprised if we heard it at the next show just kinda because it's making all the news outlets now
  13. Lmao WHOOPS I was unaware. They should have invited slash on stage wtf! Lmao
  14. I doubt they even know or remember GnR covered that song. TSI? Isn't super popular or well known. Even people who do know it probably haven't listened to it in 25 years
  15. You can't make bands play a show. How do you know that both bands weren't asked? Aerosmith is going out on their own tour and system of a down almost never plays shows. Might as well say they should have gotten Roger and David to reunite pink floyd or see Page and Plant wanted to play a show together lol.
  16. Ticketmaster/LN does these 4 for $$$ sales for almost every summer tour. It's just like their concert week sale. So nothing unusual
  17. What an odd take. The album is like 75 minutes. Surly you can spare a couple hours or your life to listen to it at least once. Who cares who plays on it. Good music is good music. Some takes on these boards are so fucking weird lol
  18. 2006 was pretty great actually because we got a bunch of leaks (irs, better, twat and catcher I believe) and the first tour since the aborted 2002 tour. So it was pretty exciting for sure
  19. I don't think the trilogy idea was ever aborted, I think it just became so difficult for Axl to get this project done whether it was because of his own issues or the label or band members leaving or the luke warm public reaction I think he just didn't want to have anything to do with that process anymore. He was clearly still interested in touring but he lost his passion to make a record
