  1. I think the criticism is unfair. Under TB Axl and Slash reunited, went on one of the biggest tours of all time, have had multiple successful tours after, played and headlined just about every major music festival in the world, and became a money making machine after years of playing small clubs. Last time I saw GnR before the reunion Axl was playing in a casino where bands like Chevelle headline. They have also put out two box sets with personal photos from Axl's collection. Now I'm not going to say they are responsible for all the success the band has had the last few years but they are certainly doing their job. Axl is also clearly happy and at peace with them. For the first time in his entire life he is happy and at peace. So I guess I don't see what the major issue is. I'm sure it's not the management team preventing Axl from putting out new my music lol I don't think this is as uncommon as you think it is when delays happen. A few examples were cited in articles already.
  2. They did have a 2020 tour planned but everything got cancelled of course (I had really cool seats for Philadelphia) and they did play two shows before the world shut down. I think they will take a year off but be back at it in 2025. Hopefully with a new album. Lol
  3. So there might not be a curfew after all. I was at the 2016 show on Slash's birthday and I thought it ended at 11 but my girl is telling me that it went later so idk GnR and Swift are both known for breaking curfews though lol. I saw GNR in 2006 in East Rutherford at an indoor arena (Izod or whatever it was called back then) and they didn't even take the stage until after 11. With parking and the 90 min drive home we didn't get home til well after 3. Every time we go see GNR the Misses brings that up to me 🤣🤣
  4. They took stage at right around 7:40 in Hershey. MetLife curfew is 11pm
  5. I know this band isn't perfect but I am still beaming from the show on Friday. What a performance. I actually saw Incubus the day after and they played a 75 minute set.. Brandon Boyd is 47 years old and Axl played almost 2 hours longer. They just really killed it in Hershey and I appreciate the hell out of these guys.
  6. I would argue that GNR has become tied just as much to November Rain as they are AFD. I mean the music video has over 2 billion views on YouTube and is still to this day one of the most talked about music videos of all time. And I think many people see it as Axl's magnum opus.
  7. Does anyone know if MetLife Stadium has a touchtunes jukebox?
  8. Some of our favorites. Mind you they were all taken off the video board as we didn't have the best seats
  9. Rage Against the Machine. 3 great albums, followed up by a covers album. A break up and a few reunion tours but nothing else. Zack even hurt his foot during the reunion tour. System of a down is another, came out with a fire discography, broke up and they still do shows and tours but other than a couple of random songs they put out for charity a couple years ago nothing.
  10. I got this t-shirt. Didn't see this poster anywhere or I would have nabbed it. Had a chance at the litho but didn't really care for the design. I did grab the giant ass tour flag though which is really nice
  11. I guess so 🤣 I guess Axl has become more forceful and determined throughout the years 🤣
  12. "and Dizzy Reed is still fire on the drums and, occasionally, piano." Ok lol
  13. I will! I just have to get them off her phone and she is asleep so it might be a few days. I'll tag ya tho! Honestly the highlight of the night for me. Always one of my favorites, haven't heard it in over a decade and was a total surprise Axl sounded great on it too. Honestly it blows my mind it isn't a setlist staple. Axl kills it and it's just a great song. More relevant than ever too.
  14. This I Love is a lovely song. Great solo from Finck. It might not reach the highs of November Rain or Estranged but is still a very beautiful piece of art. It would have been epic to see Axl tinkering around on the piano, singing the song with nobody else involved. Just Axl and the piano
  15. Probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to. This was my 8th GnR concert and they blew me away still
  16. Goddamn what a fucking show!! 3 hours! Axl was on fire! Band was incredible! I was so happy when Madagascar got played!
  17. For real lol. My girl knew a bunch of songs at least. Time for GNR baaayyybeeee
