  1. I actually love OMG. I wish the whole album sounded like that. I think it's a great industrial rocker. And Axl's voice on it is great. This article from September 1999 is fascinating knowing how everything played out lol https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/good-god-guns-255073/
  2. Hahhaahhah yes a class action lawsuit against the promoter because Ozzy isn't healthy enough to play
  3. LOL Yeah I'm sure Slash never figured that out. Great observation
  4. TWAT is absolutely one of the best songs Axl has ever done.
  5. Promise is great too. I absolutely love Nothing to Say. Matt must have been so happy to record with Slash considering how big of a GnR fan he is. He did a great job and you can tell he put his all into it. Matt and Slash would probably be awesome in a band together lol
  6. I got the gig shirt from Hershey in 2021 and it was the smallest shirt I ever got. The other tour shirt I got in the same size was a natural fit and fit perfect but the gig shirt was literally 2 sizes too small. So I gave that shirt to my girl and bought one in a bigger size from the tour truck. The image is pretty much the same on both shirts, but there was no metallic ink or anything so it was a more natural image. I would imagine on the shirts with special ink like the one shared above the cheap out from the tour truck. I would say the quality of both shirts is pretty comparable. I wear my shirt all the time and have no issues with it. I also like having the image on the front more so it works for me. I will say ordering from the tour truck was a nightmare.
  7. When I saw the band play in Hershey 2017 they played Whole Lotta Rosie and Axl said Frank had requested it. It's funny how everyone here thinks they know the inner workings of the band and claim that no one likes each other, and they are just in it for the money, and it's not a real band, and Axl is a dictator when really they are just up there having a great time with each other
  8. Yeah By the Sword is really good! I really love Nothing To Say with M. Shadows and Gotten too. There are some great songs on that album
  9. Haha thought the same thing when I saw the title of thread. As for the song it's okay. Not my favorite from Slash but still pretty solid.
  10. That's pretty cool. Been almost 20 years since Bucket was in the band. Nice for Axl to share a little memory of him.
  11. Nobody is touring member status. Everyone is a member of the band. Nobody outside of the original 5 is ever going to gain any kind of ownership of Guns n Roses. It's too big of an IP. Just like how Robert and Jason had no ownership over Metallica and are just hired into the band.
  12. It says "guns n roses band member" now. What a lot of people fail to realize is every band is a business. When someone leaves and they bring in a new member very rarely do they get ownership of the band. Usually they just become a member. Melissa, Richard, Dizzy and Frank are all members of GnR but none of them have ownership in the band. I'm not actually sure how it works with Slash and Duff if they retained ownership or if Axl is the sole owner or the Guns n Roses property. At any rate I'm sure there the other guys don't care if they are on the merch or not. Melissa and Frank aren't stupid. They know that people come to see A/S/D. They are still apart of the band, and make a lot of money. If anyone was unhappy they would probably leave. If you follow Richard Melissa or Frank you would know that they all seem very happy to be apart of the GnR world. And all of them are well respected by their band mates.m And clearly Dizzy is too.
  13. Lol I almost bought that one too!! That was such a cool shirt.
  14. Slash just did a guitar part for Demi Lovato so yeah he could be doing anything but regarding the picture with Axl they said they heard new GnR music that sounded like classic Guns.
  15. Why not? There is plenty of great live shows and material to choose from to put together a good live album since the reunion. I like live records. I would like more from this band too.
  16. Yeah it's a bummer. If they are going to start playing stadiums and charge stadium prices for tickets and merch they really need to expand their setlist and lengthen the show
  17. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/red-hot-chili-peppers/2022/citizens-bank-park-philadelphia-pa-63b0aa93.html This was the set the first time I saw them last year. And don't get me wrong. It's a great set. The deep cuts they played were awesome. It just would have been a perfect set if they threw in under the bridge, scar tissue, parallel universes, breaking the girl and higher ground. Or a few others they missed. Take the show to the 2 hour mark. I mean it is what it is. It was a good show and the strokes opened up which was cool too. Taking this back to GnR I think it just makes me appreciate what they do on stage even more. The sets are ridiculous even if they have grown stale for some people. They get it here for 3 hours and give it their all and play not only all their hire but some of their best deep cuts too. And my GNR tickets were cheaper than my RHCP. But I'm glad I get to go to both shows lol
