@MillionsOfSpidersLol! Of course not. We live on a farm and 4 are working dogs. 2 are livestock guardians and 2 are cattle herding dogs. Of the remaining 4, 3 are senior and happy with short walks. The other runs a bit with me every day. They all do sleep inside at night.

Looking forward to listening. Are you going to the show tomorrow?

I've always always always wanted cowboy boots but to be honest you'd look an absolute cunt walking about the south east of England in em (and by you I mean me, birds can actually pull em off). Fuckin' cowboy hats too, they look so cool.
Get you Cowboy boots! Who cares what people think? It takes a bit to break them in but they're comfortable and I think look cool. I've even worn them court. But this is Texas. Cowboy hats are sexy.

I like the look of casual nice trainers but I spend so much $ on running shoes that I can't see spending $ on non work/ non running shoes. So like @SoulMonster, I wear retired running shoes or if it's cold out or I need something a bit dressier, I wear my only pare which I work with cattle in Cowboy boots. Yes, I get from my husband often "you're wearing that?"

We're a dog household with 8 but we have an office cat that insist on laying sprawled out in my office chair forcing me to sit on the edge of the chair for 9 or 10 hours a day. @janrichmondcats definitely own us!

It supposedly does not record everything: https://www.techworld.com/security/does-amazon-alexa-listen-to-my-conversations-3661967/
That being said, how are we to know there aren't software on our phones that record everything within mic radius? Or our laptops? Etc.
We can't know for sure. Luckily for me, I don't really care any other way
Whether such devices record everything is open for questions. I know you don't really care. You support mandatory blood / DNA testing. 😊

What the fuck is that thing Soulie got anyway? Looks like a posh air freshner.
🤣 it's a Google Home. A listening device that can control your home if one has a "smart home", be your assistant and answer questions. It works by recording commands by saying ok Google. But that's not entirely accurate. It records everything but doesn't respond if not recording ok Google.

Taken as individual examples, the internet of things may seem like an innocuous presence as it listens, monitors and watches. But taken as a whole there are serious implications.
Take this example of people hacking into someone else's smart phone enabled vibrating panties.

There really is no limit to the things we're willing to make available for others. 🤔

One thing i have noticed is the biggest like, exponents of these 'we're being listened to' theories are people that no one cares to listen to Some no mark living in a bedsit in Aberystwyth goin' 'the fuckin' russians are clocking me through facebook', well fuck me, they must have a lot of time on their hands, I'm sure your photos of what you had for tea and your 'Girl Groups of the 90s' quiz results are invaluable to those dastardly commisars
Well, I'm an attorney and I can't tell you how valuable FB posts and even messages can be. One never thinks they'll end up in court. As for the home listening devices, they can be a bit more challenging to obtain recordings from but some judges allow. We have the right to privacy free from being listened to, whether or not there's damning conversations being recorded, it's something we should care about.

Is the Slash burger real? My only question is whether anyone ordering such a burger really cares about gluten and wants it on a potato bun?

I see it as trying to bring GnR to the social media age. Some bands really embrace the power of social media and live stream portions of their shows and give us glimpses into life on the road. GnR fans have to hunt for fans or spouses/ girlfriends streaming to view shows.

The GnAir experience is available for all who want to follow along on the website. It's in a whole new way which means virtually not actually bording a plane with the band. That's my take.
-
I never took "fly with the band" literal. I tend to think more like @soon.They probably took it down after realizing some might take it literally.

Took Timon in because I thought he had a toothache. The vet says his cancer is back. He doesn't think he will make it until his next exam in July. This is going on year 3, maybe the 4th, of Timon having cancer. I still don't believe it and I know Timon doesn't. He's back on meds. I'm not telling the kid.
I'm so sorry. I lost my Piglette to cancer. But you have today with Timon and that's good so don't spend the day upset. Enjoy it.

This thread needed it. Many times it's easier to talk about silly things .

I am from Lafayette Indiana and can say I have no idea wtf an "eggcup" is. We just called them what they are... "boiled eggs".
But apparently some areas sit the boiled egg in its own cup = eggcup.
In seriousness I find the talk of eggcups on this thread lighthearted. The interview of Stuart not so much. This thread needed some lightness.
I think we can all agree whether or not we think eggs need their own cup that the removal of videos from YouTube does no good for GnR and has hurt dedicated fans that enjoy sharing with others. YouTube has preserved 1988-92 GnR. Or it did.

How the fuck does someone not know what eggcups are?!
By the name, I can guess what they are but eggcups certainly aren't a mainstay in Texas kitchens. I've never been asked where my eggcups are. In TX we like our eggs hard boiled and deviled. For deviled eggs every kitchen should have an egg tray to sit the cut in half and whipped deviled eggs in but eggcup? No. I guess eggs are Regional.

That halftime show was horrible. Adam should stick with coaching The Voice. Just terrible show yesterday. Adam ripping off his curtain fabric muscle tank and trying to be dangerous I guess with his bare chested tatted up body fell flat. He's anything but dangerous.

Is Ash making a physical harm threat saying he's been doing martial arts? I find it very funny when celebrities or hangers on (Ash) read comments and feel compelled to comment back on the negative comments.

For me, Axl's voice and emotion he pours into every song can pull me in. I've always thought it was one of his greatest strengths. I have those that hit me harder than others off each album and time period of my life. But certainly Estranged.

The very reason I moved from the city with a small yard to a farm. At the time I had a reasonable number of dogs - 3 Labs. I wanted them to have land and ponds for them. Today, 1 of my 8 is one of those Labs. She no longer runs or swims and her eye sight doesn't let her look out over the land but I hope she knows that all this was for her and her 2 brothers.
