I am going to assume, by the two interviews, this is a book that avoids the “ wild stories” since he was not in the band, why try to get a lawsuit. 
In his interview, he spoke a lot about life on the road for roadies and then the downtime between breaks  . A lil human interest there. I like what he said about if he was still with it, he be higher on the totem pole and that it is hard work, busy work.

Likewise, Frank fits in nicely to Duff - style, timing, etc.

The book seems like a nice, little family thing for the Lebis grandchildren by their parents.

I think the thing that got people here is this is under GnR. Sold by GnR. Marketed by GnR on their site.

I aleays liked this song. Mature lyrics. GnR AFD was 100% different from UYIs. Growth in age, musical skills, writing, and more.

i always said, if , if they could have come back, clean n sober and older,  say about 1998-2001, what and how it could have been some really good , mature music. I mean them- Axl, Slash, Duff, Matt, Steven, and Izzy.

NITLT and the part two tour, whatever it was called tour,  that was going to be this year is just him playing on the GnR songs and hits he wrote. Throw in some solos because the audience likes that and he is star of the show, really. Go through the motions. Nothing new or hard. 

NITL Tour only made around $550 million. Just that. That’s  all.

He is worth so much money. Selling albums, videos, charting days are long gone over. That business is even over.

For creativity , he has his  really ,own band, MK Conspirators. To tour. To create. To put his time, energy in.

Even with it, streaming sells peanuts to what  his album days were. He can tour it , selling , and his MKConspirators can earn some bit of money.

Interesting . Interesting to look at on line. Songs that go with different guitars, interesting. I can see 
 a band that is a big fan and that just made it being interested in this , but it would be used on the road.  It will be interesting if a rich person with money to burn buys this beat up metal box. It would be sad for someone without money to literally waste to buy this. The is a fool born everyday.

I assume some are antiques. Some are must haves for touring. Back up ones for touring. AFD guitars and the 1 or 2 second hand guitars he had from back in the day are just mementos that stay in his home office or something.

I would not. I am too serious about money and scared of losing money.

If I had money to burn when I was  younger, no. I regretted wasting money like $25.00 on a shirt. 

I believe in being kind to all animals and  the Earth. I  believe in the ethnical treatment of all animals. I don’t need entertainers to tell the masses, me,  how to live life. Yes, entertainers though can have an opinion.  I usually find entertainers hypocritical or unknowledgeable of things like this. Animals are raised and farmed for food, shelter,  medical reasons, and clothing. This all has to be ethically. I believe that recycling should be in all neighborhoods. Paper, glass, and plastic is a big way to save the planet. We should do all of the very easy, eco friendly things .Population control is a bit harder to impose on people.Ethics. Who can say who can and who cannot. Ask Prince William how that lil speech of his went .

If you do not want to eat animals, wear them, and chose to refuse any medicine , medical care, or surgery, fine. 
For us who do, fine.

Now . Matt n Slash were in the Kindness video , feel good message. 

Meeghan Slash, who is a very pretty lady, needs to stop with the Botox and fillers for a while. She is one treatment away from going overboard. That Botox and fillers were all tested on animals first. There is nothing wrong with fillers and Botox and she would look pretty silly not keeping herself up. 
I am glad the Slash family  don’t  eat meat. 
Susan Duff and her PETA ad with her hubby. Ok. However, her boobs are at attention and salute like a 18 year olds., lol. Ok. Of course , she had a lift and implants . This which were all tested on animals first. Her handbags and shoes are worth tens of thousands of dollars and more. Hun. YSL, Birkin, LV, Channel etc . don't make shoes and handbags in plastic, pleather, or vinyl. There is nothing wrong with her closet and she, ohh is only worth , gotta be 75 million up.  There is nothing wrong that. She would look stupid in shoes and handbag from Target or not keeping herself up.  
Ace Matt, same closet as Susan Duff   and Mrs. Matt would look silly in shoes and handbag from JCPennys.  The Matt family does not eat meat and that is ok.
Mrs. Steven. So obviously, boob job, as she should if she wanted it keeping herself up. , lol. The Steven family don't eat meat and that is ok. 
Slash ( heart thing) and Duff ( gut thing) , surgeries were animal tested first. Then  govt. approved. Then trials on people. Meds at placebo stage, and  newer surgeries are risky still in trial stage.All of this testing takes years, years. Both of these guys benefited and are alive and well because of it.  Even poor deceased Beatrice Slash, the Slash family cat, chemo therapy was animal tested. People’s  pets and humans all have the same meds and medical treatments. 
An old friend of mine  from the 1980s, Ivy league univ. grad, worked in brain research at a univ research center. Cats were used. 

I know people with pets , trust me, the pets live better than a lot of people. I believe in getting your pets spayed or neutered and staying inside the house or secured   , good place.

@ gym. I know you can think that has to be a virus place, but my gym like a Gold’s gym. Weights. Machines. I have been going almost everyday since it reopened in June. Precautions taken.
Does Netflix  movies lol, count now as a hobby? Reading, walking. During March - May, I rearranged rooms at home. Different look, different feel, different vibe.

I just bought me first gun ever. A Ruger. I love it. Size.  I should have bought one 30 years ago. I had my lessons, application for state lic, and stuff. I really need to go to the gun range . I scored in the training to pass and took my lic to carry training. You have  your hobbies, good. As @soon said, hobbies are good.

Regarding protecting federal, state, local buildings, we are in madness here. If fed buildings in Portland would be burned or just vandalized, it would be ok. Figure this out, will you. Crazy times. BLM was painted on the city street in NYC. That is fine. Anyone defacing it, is arrested  for vandalism of public property. Lol, but painting the street was not vandalism. BTW, I am not against Blue Lives, Black , All lives mattering.

No. I have read the book. Others here have and I just take their opinions of it and made my own.

I like the music from AFD to UYIs. I like all the members of GnR. I don’t fan out. I like their music AFD to UYIs. Axl, Duff, Slash,Matt and even Steven, Izzy , all . Good songs. I hope Matt’s book sells. I agree with you , yeah, the guy wants to do the talk shows, signings, and stuff. Get his face out there. Bad timing because this thing is the new norm and whatever , you just deal with it as it is.  He might be waiting until next summer for the usual kind of book promoting people do. Hopefully, this thing will plateau by December and life can be really normal again.

Off subject. HBO or Showtime has a Beck doc. On The Run, I think it is called. It is old so some of you saw it before.

Slash took part in this documentary of Jeff Beck. I cannot remember what he said.

I remember reading way back, Tina Turner had her legs insured. That is a common thing for entertainers to do depending on what they are known for or is their identity apart from their talent.

I just watched this week on Netflix, Epstein documentary and a movie, Birdbox.

I recommend both.

Birdbox is suspense. Thriller. It fits in with this pandemic , but a different angke. Sandra Bullock is a actor in Birdbox. Interesting movie. 

People in entertainment are all not fans of each other for varying reasons. Lots of time it is just stupid, cheap pr. This is not a big deal.. I cannot remember or care who threw the first shot; Axl or Kurt. What Axl said to Kurt about Courtney and Kurt told Courtney to  shut bitoch, ugh. Trashy . All three. Would Axl, Kurt, Courtney too be professionally cordial in not taking jabs at each other on social media today, who knows, who cares.

Who lives is the winner? I have a different spin on their feud 30 years ago. Axl won. He is alive and living. Kurt killed himself. Axl was the least of Kurt’s concern or trouble.
I am sure if any interviewer asked Axl today  about Kurt, he would say mild , nice things. Bland. He would , I guess, not talk of two crazy guys in 1990. What is the point? Axl is alive , well, and living . Life is for the living and not talking, bad mouthing the dead in cases like this.. Grohl loaned his throne to Axl.  Kurt had no issues with Duff  .Duff said he and Kurt were on a  flight to Seattle, chatted, and when Duff thought about , I forgot, sharing a ride with Kurt or inviting him to is house, something like that, , Kurt had left.. Kurt never left Seattle soon after that flight.
