  1. Well you've certainly forwarded a strongly evidenced argument. "Bro, come on."
  2. That's why a rock concert isn't exactly the place or time for that kind of subject matter. And an audience doesn't really have a lot of ways to express a reaction to something except boos and cheers. It's like Tokyo '92 when Axl says "commit hari kari" and they all cheer. They cheered because he knew a Japanese phrase, not because they are pro-suicide. And Axl knew that which is why he joked "oh, you like that kind of thing?"
  3. ... so the same as on Youtube. Did you seriously just suggest Axl would be editing the videos? Even Justin has people do that for him, and he doesn't have Axl money. Youtube videos don't make any meaningful amount of money unless you're huge. What it did do for Justin though, was keep his band in people's minds and create resurged interest in them.
  4. Why did he want to rant about random shit in the middle of shows back in the day? Because he's an opinionated MFer. I've had Axl's Chinese Stew, but I was quite disinfatuated with it.
  5. The LALD scream just happens to be in the perfect pitch and register for him to belt it out to this day. I don't think you can really use that as a barometer for anything else.
  6. This sweater I made for you I think you know where that comes from
  7. Personally, I'm holding out because $77 is too much IMO. I'd pay that for a bigger act like GNR or AC/DC but I'm hoping I can hold out and get something more like $50 closer to showtime.
  8. Why not? He's got no shortage of opinions, and it would allow him to do it entirely on his own terms.
  9. I would love to see him do a Youtube channel like Justin Hawkins. Just give his opinions on stuff and generally hanging out with the fans in a way.
  10. Not normally, but he looks quite gaunt there, and the hair and headband are Mayer's style.
  11. I mean, FFS they named the album 4. Because it's the 4th album. If you need any evidence they are not inspired anymore...
  12. At what part in the show? ... Jesus Christ, man. *intended* I love when the people who yell "Speak English!" make elementary grammatical errors.
  13. You know what they say about opinions. Some reviews were really harsh on the Snakepit albums, which I considered hidden gems.
  14. I'd never heard him address it since they broke up, so that was cool. But I also wonder if Ola was trying to plant a seed in his head. We're all pretty tired of SMKC, and reforming VR might be a needed shot of inspiration for him. Todd Kerns is fine and all, but I'd rather see him writing new material with Duff and a different singer than Myles. Reform VR with Eric Dover or Rod Jackson!
  15. I would say he's more likely Borderline Personality Disorder. "Borderline personality disorder is a mental health condition in which a person has long-term patterns of unstable or explosive emotions. These inner experiences often result in impulsive actions, self-image issues, and chaotic relationships with other people. Risk factors for BPD include: Abandonment in childhood or adolescence Disrupted family life Poor communication in the family Sexual, physical, or emotional abuse" The problem is that having a mental illness makes you a poor judge of whether you are mentally well or not. A fish doesn't know it's in water.
  16. No way, that would have been cool as fuck! Nic Cester has an incredible rock voice.
  17. No posting official leaked material on the forum! That said, Axl sounds better than ever. G'n'Fn'R!
  18. I love Rod, his voice is incredible and soulful. Perfectly suits Slash's blues influenced style. The only thing I don't like was his tendency to yell some lines during live performances. But I also love Eric's voice as well. They're totally different animals, it's like asking whether Pizza is better than Ice Cream. Dear god, is Slash deaf? Clink also praised his guide vocals for the album demos. I can only hope he's taken a lot of singing lessons since 1997.
  19. I didn't like Perhaps when it leaked but the final version completely changed my opinion on it. I'm "meh" on Atlas Shrugged right now, but it could be good in its final form. State of Grace though... god no. Sounds like one of those videos mocking Axl's mickey voice and wavering pitch.
