  1. It's 5AM, I'm desperate to go to bed, but knowing my luck, if I call it quits they'll play Monsters, introduce Seven to the world, then bring out Tommy to do Going Down while Buckethead does a nunchuck solo. I'm not taking the risk 😂
  2. What Atlas vinyl? This seems to be a rumour started within the fanbase that's got legs. What concrete evidence have we got that it's coming?
  3. Is Tadao no longer with Slash? "Thanks for the memories" https://www.instagram.com/reel/CzKw5NzL9FC/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  4. While that is funny, it wouldn't have been his job. Funny fuck up if that's what actually happened, regardless of who it was 😂
  5. That or the two combined is for formats that allow it. Maybe it was trimmed to just the first half for the upcoming vinyl. I don't know, I'm not a vinyl expert, I don't (and won't) listen to it, and the song's registration is still puzzling. Meh, who cares. We waited 20 years for The General, and we have it. It could have been a recording of Axl farting 'Happy Birthday' for all I care, I'm just glad we aren't waiting anymore
  6. Judging by this, I think we can now safely say beyond reasonable doubt that the leak was two songs... Which begs the question, what on earth was that registration all about? Edit: might've known the forum's angriest poster would drop a 😂 react on this
  7. Are you still not going to explain this? Why do you think Melissa is out? Who else is leaving? Why do you think they are?
  8. They're not vinyl rips and they're not demos. This is obvious in both cases. They're compressed files that have been leaked, obviously they're not perfect. And for crying out loud, yes it is Slash!
  9. Yes but the genesis of the discussion was 👇 Ergo, the fact it's a special venue is meaningless. It won't bring Izzy and Steven etc
  10. Right, but it still doesn't matter. They've played equally iconic venues or festivals in recent years and it hasn't led to dramatic shifts in the stage show or band lineup. A special venue doesn't automatically equal a special show in GN'Rland
  11. Slash has been in the band with Fortus for the last seven years. He's played with him longer than he's played with any other GN'R guitarist in fact...
  12. It's no different to Slash and Izzy, or a combination of Robin, Bucket, Richard, or Bumblefoot sharing on previous releases. Slash may be Slash, but as long as there's more than one capable guitarist in the band, it's always a possibility that they could share/trade solos
  13. Doubtful. They post those pics occasionally and they never lead to anything drastic Not happening. If it didn't happen at the Troubadour, the Apollo, or the Forum, it's not going to happen here
  14. Are you okay? Show us on the doll where they hurt you... There is an explanation for both sides. If you're too stubborn to acknowledge that, then that's your deal. Believe what you want, the rest of us do too, but you don't need to get so worked up about it. Jesus christ, we're on an internet forum talking about noises made by a group of people, you don't need to get so mad. Calm your tits.
  15. Absolutely no need to be so heavy-handed. Unless you're in the band, you don't know anything for a "fact" yet. None of us do. As I (and @Blackstar who's pretty much regarded as the most knowledgeable person here) said, there's evidence for both sides. You can't call people out for doing exactly the same thing as you. Calling people wrong because they don't believe the same as you isn't fact, it's opinion. And that's fine. People can have opinions, but the facts haven't been established yet. But they will be...
  16. But isn't that what you're doing? Nothing is "clear" one way or the other, and here's why: There's evidence for both sides. They might be two songs, but they're just as likely to be one song. As for the "no segue" point, there's form: What about the ends of Rocket Queen or November Rain? (A case could be made for the end of Paradise City too.) They're no strangers to taking a full 90 degree turn mid-song and going in a completely different direction. Ultimately, until the official release, we won't know the full story, but calling people out for forcing their opinion by forcing your own opinion is a tad hypocritical. I can see why either explanation is "clearly wrong", but know which side I sit of for now based on what we know. Like you though, I'd be willing to change my mind when we know the full story.
  17. There has been three separate tours since Slash and Duff rejoined the band though, none of which lasted longer than the classic lineup. The current lineup has lasted longer, sure, but there hasn't been a single continuous tour since 2016: Not In This Lifetime... Tour (2016-19) We're F'N' Back! Tour (2021-22) 2023 Tour (2023) Not to mention the aborted 2020 tour which wasn't NITL.
  18. And that's solely on Slash is it? He has actually delivered two full albums plus a handful of guest appearances, while touring almost constantly since the reunion. But yeah, let's place the blame of GN'R's lack of studio activity on Slash 😂
  19. Some very obvious things that people can't seem to grasp: It's one song, we have legal proof of this Slash is on it (or 'both' if you insist on that) What we have isn't a vinyl rip It's not a demo – what we'll get eventually will sound the same, the only difference will come from the quality of the file itself Seriously, the theories beforehand were bad enough, but now we have the song, the stuff some people are coming out with is downright baffling – it's all staring you in the face 😂
  20. She does seem less 'active' in shows these days, hopefully this isn't a longer-term thing that's been building. Love what she brings to the band and hope she gets better soon!
