They've been constantly active for seven years, they're due a break. If they keep going, they'll only dilute the interest in the touring product. A year off won't be out of the ordinary, and isn't totally unexpected either

That was a one-off show of a band no longer together though. It wasn't a show from a band playing practically every week for seven years out of the last eight. GN'R's logic will be why by a Blu-Ray when you can just buy a ticket? Led Zeppelin's fans didn't have that option

I don't understand why anyone thinks the end is on the horizon for the band. They've given no indication that they're going to call it a day, and when you look at other, similar bands, they're way too young to retire. They've got at least another 10 years in them. At least. Looking at their energy at the moment, and how happy they all seem to be, I'd say if anything, they're just getting started. There'll be a year off, then more of whatever from 2025.

That tour ended four years ago. If they were going to put out a Blu-Ray of it, it would've happened by now.
