  1. So did I to be fair, but I'm not a musician. Nor am I someone who's spent time around the band watching Richard play these weird tones on songs like Chinese Democracy etc. I thought he'd know without needing a close up 🤷‍♂️ Every Guns N' Roses song is different live to the studio! That tells us nothing. What we have is the final version, but a poor file format
  2. Justin Hawkins reacts to The General. I'm only five minutes in so far, but it sounds like he's already mistaking Richard's opening guitar parts for synths 🤦
  3. They've been constantly active for seven years, they're due a break. If they keep going, they'll only dilute the interest in the touring product. A year off won't be out of the ordinary, and isn't totally unexpected either
  4. Jeez, Heaven's early again? Wow. Anyway, that's my cue to leave. They might be onto the next song by the time I wake up
  5. Melissa 2.0, or whatever his name is, is really getting into The General Edit: is it Brain?
  6. Yeah I'd noticed he seemed to be a bit more static tonight
  7. "When you're talking to GRITA RADIO" 🤦‍♂️ The unreleased song we absolutely didn't want or need (e)strange(d)
  8. Good point. They do look great but... I mean, let's take Down on The Farm as an example: A NASCAR car racing against Minis – it's a song about being on a farm!
  9. Did it just die for anyone else or is my internet bad?
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if they skip The General tonight given that Melissa's not there. Not saying they definitely will skip it, but it would make a bit more sense if they did
  11. So they don't have a direct line to the screens OR the soundboard? (Edit: @VeeR we posted the same thing at the same time 😂) Must've spent the entire budget on those stupid logo cutaways that keep interrupting
  12. It's shot, but I wouldn't call it "pro" 😂 Forgot that people had issues with that. The broadcast I watched, the video I watched back, and the bootleg I listen to regularly are all spot on 🤷‍♂️
  13. Bit cruel... We've had better audio from cell phone recordings 😂
  14. Not to sound ungrateful (we don't get pro-shots often), but this awful. Amateur production Doesn't look like it sadly
  15. The same week The Beatles released their last single and Jimmy Page played live for the first time in a decade, and just a couple of weeks after The Rolling Stones got a number 1 album too. What a time to be alive!
  16. That was a one-off show of a band no longer together though. It wasn't a show from a band playing practically every week for seven years out of the last eight. GN'R's logic will be why by a Blu-Ray when you can just buy a ticket? Led Zeppelin's fans didn't have that option
  17. I don't understand why anyone thinks the end is on the horizon for the band. They've given no indication that they're going to call it a day, and when you look at other, similar bands, they're way too young to retire. They've got at least another 10 years in them. At least. Looking at their energy at the moment, and how happy they all seem to be, I'd say if anything, they're just getting started. There'll be a year off, then more of whatever from 2025.
  18. That tour ended four years ago. If they were going to put out a Blu-Ray of it, it would've happened by now.
  19. Looks like Josh Freese was in the crowd on the first night judging by his Instagram story
  20. Sorry for ruining everyone's night. I'm going to bed now (keep an eye on those livestreams for another encore 😜)
