  1. I was thinking he'd probably come up and jam Nightrain, they played that on the Living The Dream Tour. Fourtus played Rocket Queen with him on this run, but that's become more of a Fortus song, if you know what I mean What's funny @double talkin jive mfkr?
  2. Why should Duff comment out of nowhere based on allegations against his co-worker? It's not really any of his business, not to mention the potential legal ramifications if he does. We haven't even heard from Axl yet, but people want Duff to comment based on the character he plays in public? Weird...
  3. I know we have the Slash forum, but I figured this'd be the best place for it. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cz_3X3pLvi4/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Cue hysteria and pining for the good old days... 😂
  4. What the actual fuck... READ what I'm saying and stop generalising. I am a million percent NOT insinuating to "slim' down is to go extreme. Not even slightly. How you're even coming to that conclusion is baffling. If someone at a healthy weight (let's say 'slim', to help you) was to slim further, then yes, that would be unhealthy. Axl isn't "fat", Axl isn't out of shape. Axl is in shape, he is fit, he is perfectly healthy. He does not need to lose anything, in the exact same way he needn't gain, either. If he did, that would risk being unhealthy since there is no excess to get rid of. It's really not hard to understand. Bloody hell...
  5. Is that a serious question? Obviously I'm saying he doesn't need to "slim down" at all because he's in great shape, and if he lost (more) weight to impress the nutters in this forum he'd be seriously unwell. He's in decent shape right now as-is.
  6. BBC News are now running it on the homepage... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-67504284
  7. Doesn't matter whether he still does or not. The point is he did for some time, therefore isn't the perfect lab-formed physical specimen this deluded fanbase thinks he should be
  8. Seems to be quite the link with the Finnish. Axl's a good friend of Kimi Raikkonen, too. I interviewed Mika Hakkinen earlier this year. Lovely man, great to chat with. Would've loved to have been a fly on the wall when they were having that conversation.
  9. Jesus fucking christ, how many times?! He's had vocal coaching! He continues to have vocal coaching! It is precisely why he sings live the way he does! He's acknowledged this. And slim down?! Do you want him to be anorexic?! He's perfectly in shape as it is. People need to remember he's a 61-year-old man who drinks and smokes, he's not a 25 y/o athlete.
  10. They don't mean physically absent, they mean 'not with it', not focused, not at the top of their game. Not one person on this planet is ever going to confuse Frank with Melissa 😂 Not In This Lifetime Part 2: We've got another divorce to pay for
  11. Woke? Feminist? Get a grip. Listen to the lyrics of Absurd and see if you still think that
  12. I liken them more to The Rolling Stones at this point (before you all pile on me, hear me out). Three main players supported by a strong but less-well-known cast of musicians. Simple original songs made bigger live, mainly living off past glories etc. In terms of the stage show (GN'R is primarily a touring act these days, let's not kid ourselves), it's probably closest to The Stones.
  13. I don't frequent this part of the forum much, so sorry for responding to older stuff... I saw Kiss this year and was massively disappointed. Third time seeing them on this tour and the worst by a long way. Forget the talk of Paul using backing tracks, the pyro has them! Seriously, where there was once fireworks in the set, they now just play 'bang' sounds over the PA. You go to see Kiss to see a spectacle, not some half-assed crap like that. In other news I saw Greta Van Fleet (twice) and Queens of the Stone Age last week. Greta was fun both times, but the excessive 20 minute guitar solos were a tad annoying. QotSA were good – first time seeing them, was persuaded to go by a mate
  14. This is it. I appreciate the time and effort put into it, but since it was never real and the result of guesswork, it was never of any interest to me. Now we have the real song, there's absolutely no reason to listen to it (from my perspective, at least). But yeah, as I said, I appreciate and respect what went into it, but it's not – and never has been – for me
  15. Right, so playing on something that someone else came up with, and playing something outside of GN'R. Until she makes a legitimate ground-up contribution to a GN'R project, comparison is impossible and pointless
  16. And what are Melissa's contributions exactly? She hasn't had the chance to write any studio parts yet. If you do know, can I have next week's lottery numbers too please?
  17. None of what's being suggested here is remotely realistic. A manager of a band like Guns N' Roses isn't like being the manager of a store. They're facilitators and enablers, not controllers. What would I do? The same as anyone else: what I'm told. The second you start demanding and controlling will be the second you get shown the door.
  18. Dunno if it's been mentioned yet, but the likes of Slash, Meegan, Susan etc. have all unfollowed Kat on IG in the last couple of days
  19. This has been my experience in the motorsport world too. On a daily basis. Teams, championships, or agencies (so lets say 'companies') will hire a photographer and that company owns the images. When we credit, we credit Photographer/Team, Photographer/Championship, or Photographer/Agency – so the person taking the picture gets the credit they're due, but the actual owner is clearly identified too. If the photographer has been hired, those that do the hiring tend to be the sole owner, usually. Said company pays the photographer, and the company then either charges for use, or makes them freely available under certain conditions (editorial use, not for financial gain etc.) While I'm no legal expert, my understanding of this is GN'R thinking the above, Kat thinking differently, and there being no clear paperwork/contract to establish which it is. To me, it is strange that Kat could be on GN'R's payroll and retain sole copyright of work she's done on the band's time. But again, that's where the lack of clear documentation becomes the issue. But without dismissing the severity of the copyright stuff, it's the harrasment allegations that stick out to me. They're the ones that need to be properly dealt with, and since this is a civil suit (and GN'R's statement doesn't properly acknowledge them), I fear they won't be.
  20. I wouldn't be quick to judge and assume when it comes to Axl. Remember when his lawyers went after Dr. Pepper and he had to step in to say it was a "non issue". Axl is one cog in a big machine. Admittedly a big cog, but there will be heavy-handed people acting in what they believe to be his best interests and for all we know, he might be non the wiser. I'm not talking about knowledge of certain situations here, I'm more talking about legal and commercial matters.
  21. I've never understood this argument. Yes, she does a lot of black and white, but she probably does more colour ones. There are a lot of examples of her work in colour. There were more colour pictures posted on the band accounts during NITL than black and white, too. Meegan, while not the band's official photographer, is one doing mosty black and white.
