  1. Thanks for the post. Yes it’s going to vary based on the stage, what type, and where the put it. Metallica plays with the stage in the center so the entire MetLife stadium is available for tickets. Combined with it’s a pit for the entire floor (VS GNR was chairs set up for 90% of the floor) the “seating capacity” is always going to vary.
  2. You quoted YOUR stats as being the end all be all and now they aren’t. Got it.
  3. I’m so glad you posted this and blackstar posted the stats from 2016. in a previous thread I had stated there must have been less tickets for sale. You told me I was full of shit 😂 in 2016 there were a little over 47000 tickets available. In 2021 there were 38000 tickets available. The % of sold tickets was EXACTLY the same at 93%.
  4. Yes the people complaining about ticket prices don’t go to any semi-big, or big named concerts or they would know GNR ticket prices are on par.
  5. It’s not about the money. It’s about taking what can be took and winning.
  6. It’s funny to see my old cell after all these years.
  7. We saw FF last weekend. Great show. They played 4 songs off the new album. But I can tell you, the fact they have a new album had zero impact of whether or not we were buying tickets to see them. Same thing with GNR. The fact they DON’T have a new album had zero impact on whether or not we were going. I realize here, that probably puts us in the minority 😂
  8. Nashville first then going to the Hard Rock in Hollywood. Not doing ATL. Not really big on festivals and that’s the same weekend we will be flying back from FL.
  9. Have a great time! you live in Tn? I’m in the Sparta/Cookeville area on the weekends. ATL M-F.
  10. Just got back to the room. It’s 2am est. Had a lightening and thunderstorm delay. Was the best FF concert we’ve ever been to. Dave sounded awesome. That said Josh isn’t Taylor.
  11. Watched a few performances of Everlong from this year. Josh seems like a fine drummer but Everlong is definitely different, particularly in the chorus parts. Maybe he’s just trying to put his spin on it or maybe he just isn’t Taylor.
  12. I get it and understand now. Like one time when we saw FF they actually opened with Everlong. First 2 and easiest changes to make for me… Condense KOHD and RQ. 😂
  13. So what’s your 34 song completely different setlist look like? Not trying to bust your chops, but with limited songs, and staples that must be played it’s not that easy.
  14. We get the Warning at Hard Rock. Never heard of them. Guess I’ll look and see.
  15. Well honestly I’m thrilled about Carrie. Not a country fan but she can sing for days and I have an appreciation for that. She was on our list to go see, maybe in the fall in Vegas. But now since she’s opening in Nashville we don’t have to go. Can’t believe how lucky we got.
  16. I watched a lot of the videos. Is it just me being the optimist or does it seem like Acl has put in some work in the off-season? To me he sounds much better.
  17. Tempo wise? If so I hope it’s a sign of things to come like RQ. It’s so much better at a faster tempo.
  18. Just got this email. So I don’t think it’s just GNR that’s struggling with sales in NA. Shit I can’t figure out how to post a pic from my phone 😑 It’s an Ed Sheeran email for MetLife. 300’s $25 and GA Floor 100 level for $99.
  19. That’s great to hear! Yeah we’ve seen them half a dozen times. It’s always a good show. Excited to see them next month because it will be the smallest venue we’ve ever seen them at.
  20. I mean I get that it’s a valid reason…my point was they come out with “new music”, “these people” go, then come back on here and say Axl can’t sing. I guess some people are like that, with regards to ticket prices, that’s just not me….picking a random band for less money. It’s like going out to dinner. I’d rather spend $200 for 2 going to a nice restaurant I know I’ll enjoy VS let’s say, spending $60 at Applebees, Longhorn, etc. I’d personally rather pay more and go see a band I know I love. But that’s just me.
  21. Ah, for the “new album” yes. My point was more toward the excuse people cite as the reason they don’t go to GNR shows. That and ticket prices, which again is a farce. If you go see any “big name” these are the prices you pay 9/10 times.
