Since Perhaps and The General are on the same vinyl, do you think they're going to be connected in some way thematically/lyrically, or just randomly put on the same disc because that's the material they have right now? I've also noticed a repeated motif about shoulder weights, with Perhaps having "What a weight upon your shoulders that you don't need", and Atlas Shrugged being titled Atlas Shrugged, having the lines "Whose shoulders just ain’t wide enough Whose shoulders shrug when they’ve had enough", and the vague "you"ing. Do you think they might be connected in some way, or Axl just likes to write about shoulder weights?

From Spotify spotting, to the setlist screenshot surveying, to snooping on the soundchecks, to the Perhaps linkfire being discovered, then pulled and delayed, to the Touchtunes discovery and the pulling of that, to the official release of Perhaps with a music video, and now The General is announced via a merch page, this has been such a rollercoaster! I wonder if any more rollercoaster things will happen on the way to The General being released, or if it will be a smooth ride from now on.
