To be fair there is a lot of positive comments, there are bad comments too and although some seems to be able to put in words what they don’t like most are really crying that this isn’t afd style music.

To be honest I like the general cause it really reminds me of nu metal which I really loved as a kid, the lyrics and the bridge really remind me of korn and i love aesthetic music, i really liked absurd too for similar reasons and i think perhaps is boring and uninspired. it has been 15 since if the world came out and I still think it sucks I get what you mean, we surely try to like things as fans but I honestly enjoy the general but at the same time i think there are good reasons to like the track

if you had to make a tier list and grade each song by album individually, i believe there are more high ranking songs on chinese democracy than gnr lies. even if you consider each uyi individually i think chinese democracy does pretty well.

to be honest i dont think it is, but i listen to the general quite a lot since we got the leaks and i cant listen to songs like sweet child of mine anymore. in a way i do find it more interesting than a lot of old stuff.

Yeah, I was guessing from ignorance, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if I was completely wrong. but evaders is on here and he’s real nice, I asked him the songs and he was super cool so I’m pretty sure he will tell us if we ask him.

The chorus part has to be, how else could he do it? it doesn’t sound like pieces together like the verse is, it sound like a whole piece. like he wrote the lyrics, the melody and told ai to sing it with Axl’s voice.

Atlas and monsters make the most sense. I was wondering how many there are left, slash said he worked on six but he also said they would keep putting them out till they had an album worth of material out. we didn’t know about monsters and nobody before perhaps showed on the official site would have anticipated the general to be the next single. maybe we get something completely unexpected

I think twat is a good rival, I always thought of til as the don’t cry of the cd era. I don’t know about prostitute tho, I like it but I never thought of it as the big gun it was supposed to be.

If we get atlas, monsters and state of grace it’s actually like we have a sort cd2 oh my god is somehow out, it would be cool for them to acknowledge it even by simply putting it on the Spotify catalogue. that would be 8 tracks.

Honestly I’d rather listen to what crazy idea axl came up with rather than have them try to replicate what has been. I don’t even really care for intros and solos anymore like I did as a kid and honestly apart from production and mixing I really like all four of the songs. I couldn’t care less for a don’t cry 2.0, I’d rather get what’s left from the locker and if we are lucky enough some new stuff. to be honest my forbidden dream is for them to make a rock album with blues and country influences 😂

Honestly this songs don’t lack potential, they’re this bad right now cause it’s old demos reworked, but if they finished them at the time they could have recorded new vocal parts or other sections and made a great album out the ideas. I don’t think the quality of the songs is the reason why they never released anything.

How many good gnr songs are like that tho? the average fan really knows the greatest hits. I get what you saying but I don’t think that makes it a bad song. Honestly if I think about cd 2 having the four songs released by the NILT formation pulse monsters, oh my god, atlas and state of grace it’s not a bad album. It doesn’t have no big gun but i could listen to it without skipping a song. Couldn’t agree more!

hope not! I honestly don’t get how atlas isn’t out yet, it’s by far the most complete song from the locker and possibly the catchiest one.

I.R.S. Is definitely one of the best songs on the record, it’s a big jump in terms of style from their latest releases at the time (if we don’t consider oh my god) so in terms of sales maybe it would have been better to pick Chinese democracy which sound a bit more “guns like”. This I love is a great choice to be honest and for the same reasons I think street of dreams would have been a great choice. you can imagine more than two singles coming out for such a big album anyway.

Well to be honest street of dreams and Chinese democracy could have been singles and neither would have suggested a drastic change o style. There was a time with a bit of a different mix and a different drumming style to me is very uyi and better is great rocker if you let go of the poppy intro.

I actually like both songs hahahahaha. get in the ring is cringy but when I was a kid I didn’t speak any English so I just didn’t know.
