In all fairness Metallica had a somewhat gimmicky tour. And with Pantera on some nights it was close to a co-headling tour. GNR have proven they dont need new music.

I was responding directly to Soul monsters comment about not being impressed by his music in a decade. I agree. I respect any opinion who enjoys his out put during that stretch. I just think believe it’s mostly generic.

Slash most definitely has not written great material in over a decade. Thats one reason I prefer Slash rerecording the CD material. I dont think Slash has it in him to write material good enough for GNR.

What was your reaction when you first heard it was being offically released? And what is your level if excitement to sit down and listen to this song? I feel like you would more excited than most.

Your point is valid. Especially the 6 year comment, but I follow a page that lists setlist from the UYI tour on IG and 1992 was almost always the same songs. Now, if the internet were around people would complain they played the same songs. The band have always played the same songs with some mixed in. Thankfully Axl has added songs that have not been played in ages.

The setlist complaints are silly. In 1992 GNR played almost the exact same setlist at every show.

Were lithos sold at this show?

People heard Evaders mix and think the song is light on vocals.
