Our PM has been admitted to hospital
I imagine that this was necessary, as his GP wouldn't want to cause any further panic if it was just for a few days feet up. I don't like the man, but he's got a baby on the way. I hope he recovers swiftly.

Having complained about having to manage running the business with a toddler to care for, she's actually fairly easy to live with and does some really funny things. I'm glad I've got her around.

Wanking in public places.
You can still do that! Fewer people there to catch you now.

What are we missing being able to do? I'd love to go out for a big coffee with biscotti and not be bothered by anyone.

@action I'm not offended.

Any god that would type in dark blue on a black background is a cunt and should be ignored.
Surely even @Gracii Guns can't defend him on this one?
It's a sin to quote scripture for use outside its intended context as well as the broader context of church teachings. Not being thoughtful of others' needs in regards to accessibility is not just a typographic error but a sin too. Though technically Action isn't culpable if he wasn't aware of that.

My dad works at B&Q and people who age claiming to self isolate are just going there instead. His branch had a record day of sales yesterday.

Got to the point where I keep forgetting what day it is. My brain has turned to mush and my body is now 90% biscuit. Who'd have kids?!

@SoulMonster just want to say thank you for keeping us all informed and for providing a factual analysis of the data without the media frenzy.

We didn't see coronavirus coming. Possibly more opportunities for scoring higher than previous years.

I'm going to a funeral tomorrow. I won't sit near anyone. Because I think it would be a crying shame to get to 84 and not have anyone to see you off.

Im thinking that a lot of lower tier/ beginner online content creators will be trying to use the shut-in time to up there game. I think there will be a million new yt channels launched. And I think that will also include successful YouTubers with cash. After this YouTuber parlance will have to develop a less clunky way of saying "For more on that you can head on over to my other, other, other, other, second channel."
Im sure you know infinitely more than me about that market. But I thought Id mention it in case you want to throw your hat into that ring (if you dont already).
Just thoughts. Prolly wrong. Maybe Im the only one who now has an ASMR channel where I read a section of Gramsci and then slurp noodles, lol.
It's good to think outside the box. I'll take some time to upload my work to portfolio sites. I don't have the skill/patience for YouTube, but I could certainly follow a few Photoshop tuts, which is something I've barely improved at over the last few years. Thanks for suggesting this. I bet tonnes of new podcasts are going to come from this.

Good work @Dazey.
My co-working space has closed. Last week I was my city's hottest freelance designer, and this week I've not had a single enquiry.
Plus, I managed to screw a job up for a client, so that's down the drain.
I'm hoping that we're all just adjusting to working in a new set of circumstances. People still want to run their businesses. I hope it's just a quiet couple of weeks before people get planning how they're going to work things out.
In the meantime, my challenge is to keep my two year old entertained.

I'm really annoyed that the supermarkets and government advised us not to stockpile, before announcing we've to stay home.
It's already making things easier for the rich who can drive to the out of town supermarkets and load up the Range Rover. My sister in law who relies on state benefits is so worried about how she's going to feed her daughters. She can't afford the fines if she pulled them out of school.

Today a work booking got cancelled. It would have been enough to cover my rent.

My husband doesn't have Coronavirus, however he has the worst cough and cold, so is self-isolating. I'm on my third day of solo parenting and am utterly bored.
I've already been to the cinema, made crafts, done Play-Doh, McDonalds, tried to get her to ride her bike, read books, been to the park, and relied on Cbeebies way too much. I'm all out of parenting skills. I just want a few hours to read a book with a cup of tea when I'm not already exhausted.

Also, fairly worried my work will get cancelled. I am fully booked for two weeks at the end of March. It's a good chunk of money to miss out on.

I wouldn't mind a bit of self-isolation with his wife.
My husband has a bad cough and is self isolating. The guidelines say that we can not be within a couple of metres from each other. This is distinctly not what I had in mind.
It also means I'm doing the parenting alone for a week. Bah!

I was in my local record store/cafe this week and was flicking through a very tattered edition of the Encyclopedia of Rock by Michael Heatley. https://www.worldofbooks.com/en-gb/books/edited-by-michael-heatley/ultimate-encyclopedia-of-rock/GOR004190852?keyword=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMItrzymaqJ6AIVyNDeCh3E3wI3EAQYASABEgLu0PD_BwE
I found the entry on GN'R interesting, as it makes no mention of the Illusions nor the subsequent demise. It was published in November 1993, and everything took far longer to make back then, so the entry was likely written well before then. It makes entertaining, complementary reading of the band at their peak.

Funny you should mention that because I've just brought the little one to see her grandparents over half term while the wife has buggered off to France for the week. She flew out to Marseille yesterday and she's spending a couple of days there then Paris for a couple of days tomorrow and a couple of days in London on the way back. I'm in Teesside. Doesn't bother me at all. I get to spend some time with Jr. and see a few friends while I'm home and she gets to practice her French and spend a full day at The Louvre which would bore the arse off me.
Your wife is all the woman I want to be.

You're the first person to.
It was a hint at Axl's attempt to turn Guns N' Roses into an industrial/nu-metal band. By the time Chinese Democracy was released, nu-metal had come and gone.
