You know, I can picture you rocking all those British Lady hats. Like seriously owning it! Maybe even with some white veiling over the eyes if yo nasty. But what do I know.
Haha, I once had to go to a posh do at the races. This is me four years ago with a fascinator. That's the closest I've got to indulgent millinery.

I don't look good in hats. Therefore, I don't own them, nor wear them unless it's winter and I'm at risk of freezing.

The thing about Wizzard, is if they truly were wizards, they'd be able to magic time so it really was Christmas every day.

In the US, black people didn't have the same legal recognition as white people until the late 60s. Does that make the flag of the time racist too?
People of colour still get a tough time now. What degree of racism does the US have to reduce to before they can put stars and stripes on a pair of trainers?

@AtariLegend the TRT world article rehashes The Mail verbatim. Hardly lefty Liberal, is it?
I don't disagree that white privileged people are badly informed when writing about a subject which is as sensitive as race. I'm glad that this is being called out.

Any sources you want to cite here?
From an American perspective, British Liberal media could be anything from the Telegraph to the Morning Star.

@Dazey Your wife really must be a saint if she is to expect appraisal like that for her cooking.
None taken, it was delicious.

Doesn't sound good - hope that he makes a quality recovery.

There's this old rambling rose in my garden. It appears to have been left untended for a long time, so has grown at a jaunty angle. Kind of at 50-60 degrees for a few metres. It won't tie to a trellis (in fact the trellis it was initially placed on crumbled when I took it down). It has a lot of bright pink rose heads on, but only on the new growth. If it was my house, I think I would have pulled it out and put a new plant in there. But while it looks fairly wild, it's not actually doing any harm. So I sawed off some branches which were weeping, and I'm just letting the rest be. I also found this little dude!

Anyway it's now at Cambridge University
Do you mean to say that researchers at the University of Cambridge might outsmart the collective knowledge of the Anything Goes Crew (Brrrrap!)?

Regarding Axl using the f*ggots term. I can remember a quote from many years ago which went something like this:
"Homophobic? Yeah, probably. I was raped in the ass as a two year old".
While we were waiting for CD, Duff worked hard, raised his family and kicked addiction. I've more respect for him than ever before.

I'll accept that Duff's attitude has changed. I find it harder to accept that every nasty lyric written in 1986 when they were 18-year-olds was a joke. To be fair, GN'R had a degree of self-awareness which other bands didn't. It just didn't stretch to treating women who made themselves available to the band, with respect.
NEXT: Motley Crue announce that Girls Girls Girls is actually a meditation on female empowerment!

I voted, but only under the pretext you didn't vote for Brexit.

Wouldn't dream of doing so. Thank you!

@Len Cnut When I'm mega successful (which doesn't really happen for graphic designers) I'll hire you to ghostwrite my autobiography. Everyone would prefer the rags-to-Waitrose story than the truth.
Thank you voting. That's one step closer to your advance on the book.
P.s. I've worked in two chip shops.
