Agreed. Rosé to me is just wine.

On the subject of that, I am sure I saw some wine like that last year on the forum here. Wasn't it in one of the pop-ups they had?

Found it, @Gracii Guns even called it Guns N' Rosé. I think you should sue too, Gracii!

If GNR ever has any new ideas, you can bet that they'll be recycled from this forum.

  2. My rhubarb plant is getting thinner stalks. I've cleared the area around it, made sure it gets more light. I've read that I need to split the plant to give it more room. Quite scared of this.

Thinned out the lilac tree and the yukka this weekend.

just looked at it on Amazon. It looks complicated but it does say it's easy to learn. Gonna have a look on youtube (recommended by a few reviews)

It's definitely one of those where you learn the rules by playing. It's just an unusual approach to collecting points. I didn't get it perfect the first time, but it didn't ruin the game.

It's fairly fast paced which is nice too. No commitment like Monopoly.

    What's Azul?

It's a good one for families. You create tile patterns, very much inspired by the Alhambra castle. There's points involved, but it's fairly gentle with a slight competitive element. It's very fun.

As I said, she should be playing with her dollys.

When I was her age I was desperately asking for attention from the creeps who used to post on mygnr. Think she's passed the tea parties stage. Good on her for doing something.

  6. Feeling accomplished as I cut down a massive bramble type thing in my garden yesterday.

One of my herbs (I think it was thyme) gave up the ghost over the winter, so now have a space for a new plant. To suit the garden, it has to be a hardy herb or fruit tree. It will be between gooseberries and sage. I'm considering a lemon thyme, but am open to suggestions.

I liked the post because it looks great but on reflection I don't think ive ever actually tasted rhubarb so no idea whether I would like it or not. I've had rhubarb and custard sweets when I was a kid but that probably doesn't help 😄

Rhubarb is the mutt's nuts. Grown best in Yorkshire from mid spring to mid summer. Whenever I visit London, I always bring some for my pals.

Mygnr women have come a long way since posting pics fishing for compliments

Agree! We're more of the age where we don't want to be hassled by our own husbands, nevermind by PM here.

  9. This woman isn't famous in the UK. Soubds like a very sad story. Mental health can do unspeakably bad things to a person. I'm sad that she didn't get the help she needed.

  10. Really gutted for the people who worked, and volunteered there. They're out of jobs.

I'm really in no mood for restoration talk. It will be a completely different building. Also, I'll be surprised if its complete within our lifetimes. Westminster Cathedral is still incomplete.

I'm delighted that nobody was hurt and they saved the Blessed Sacrament among some bits and bobs.

I suppose I'm a bit moody at the moment as we've just had our second family bereavement since January.
