Have you been to a live show in this leg?

It’s a great experience, despite what you think about Axl’s vocals.

No, I haven’t because their Australian tour has been delayed for 2 years. I’m waiting for my turn in Sydney this weekend.

And I’m sure the experience will be great, but I’ve seen them in Vegas 2016, and Australia in 2017, and I’m not kidding myself that Axl’s vocals will be as good as they were 5-6 years ago.

4 songs in, same set list. Axl is killing it. His voice is insane!

    Insane as in bad?

I know we shouldn’t expect miracles with Axl’s voice at this point, but please be reasonable here. There is nothing insane about Axl’s vocal abilities in 2022.

    Glad you’re enjoying it though!

Rian's was the best in the sequel trilogy. Shame they went in the direction they did for the finale

    Only it wasn’t though.

Terrible acting, terrible dialogue, terrible plot, terrible gags. Just a shit movie.

He completely disregarded everything set up in the previous movie. The only reason JJ did what he did in the finale was because he had no other option to wrap up what was supposed to be a trilogy.

I don’t know how anyone who truly loves Star Wars can say anything good about his movie.

So for those keeping track, here’s where we’re at:

    CONFIRMED BY LUCASFILM
    Rian Johnson’s trilogy
Kevin Feige’s movie that Michael Waldron is writing
Taika Waititi’s movie (rumored to be a loose Dawn of the Jedi adaptation)
Rogue Squadron (originally for 2023 but now delayed indefinitely like everything else)

    CONFIRMED BY CREATORS
Shawn Levy’s movie (may be the same as Feige’s)
Studio Ghibli collaboration (may not be a movie)

    REPORTED ON
The Knights of the Old Republic movie
Damon Lindeloff’s movie set short after Rise Of Skywalker

    OFFICIALLY CANCELED
    The Benioff&Weiss series
    JD Dillard’s movie

Great, Rian Johnson, who made the worst Star Wars movie ever, gets another turn to make 3 more shitty films?

    Pass…

Sounds good. There are some new orchestral parts sprinkled throughout which are a little distracting but only cos you're so familiar with the original. They have done something to the vocal mix over of the final solo. Sounds like they've layered more vocal takes over it maybe instead of just axls high and low registers? Or maybe they've just done some unneccesary tinkering. Noticably different to the original. Rest of it sounds the same.

All the vocals in the song sound a little different to me. Like, they’ve been brought forward in the mix.

  6. I feel for Brian, I really do. But all this article did on social media is bring out the fucktards saying “Axel was shit, he always comes out and performs 3 hours late etc” actually ignoring the fact that he got his shit together, stepped up, came out on time fronting AC/DC and absolutely kicked all sorts of ass in doing so. In fact, he completely knocked it out of the park. And no one was expecting that.

    It s not

It s not rocket science - it s rock n roll - I love some of the songs and for me like most of the skid row fans this is a great album. Hell or high water, nowhere fast, resurrected and october s song are awesome.

You’re right, it’s only rock n roll, but Skid Row had pretty decent lyrics at least when Sebastian was in the band. Their songwriting over the three albums he did with them developed so much, and this new album is a massive step backwards.

If you get enjoyment from that, good for you. But I like lyrics to have some substance and meaning, otherwise you might as well be listening to top 40 rubbish.

Yeah but let's face it, you don't listen to Skid Row for the lyrical content. You go to them for big dumb rock songs sang with gutso. I ain't expecting Neil fucking Young! :lol:So far I've only heard the singles, but already I'd say it's the best stuff they've done since STTG.

I’d agree with you if we’re talking about the first Skid Row album, but on Slave the the Grind and Subhuman Race, they have some great lyrical content. Wasted Time, Quicksand Jesus, In A Darkened Room, all have amazing lyrics.

This new album sounds like Steel Panther without the sense of humour. Pure cheese.

New Skid Row single - Time Bomb

I love it. It s my favorite new song from the 3 so far released singles. Very cool bass lines and Erik s voice is fantastic.

the album will be awesome. Mitch lafon said it s the best hard rock album he has heard in the last 15 years!! Go Skid Row ❤️🤘🏻

Man, I’ve tried to so hard to like the new Skid Row, but these lyrics are absolutely terrible.

”tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick… BOOM”

The same can be said for the whole new album really. It’s pretty strong instrumentally, but the lyrics really let it down.
