So im painting my gutiar [Finished!]

Recommended Posts

So i've started to strip down my crappy old squire strat ready to repaint it. (Really pleased so far, about half done)

I'm just wondering what the best paint to use would be?

And if anyone has any good pictures of custom paint jobs, please post them

Ive got a few ideas how i want it to look, but i'll welcome more

For no real reason, pics:

so... after a few more primer coats ive now filled over the entire body with car filler [i forget the name], and will sand back down so that the filler.. fills and imperfections in the wood :)

and ive had a word with a spray shop near by, and they said they'll spray it for me for £20-£25 , which is think it freaking brilliant!

so just got to get this baby preped for the spray, sort out the colour

And decide if i want metallic or pearlescent paint... :book:

Have you not checked eBay yet?! That's where I would look first, it hasn't disappointed me yet for guitar parts. Then again, methinks Squires may have more screw holes than actually Fenders...aww fuck it, you've already painted it...put an extra hole or two in there.

.:edit...yo http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?f...amp;category0=:.
