Completely shits all over pretty much everyone you guys listed, including Eminem. You guys need to broaden your horizons beyond mainstream hip-hop, and look at some of the underground artists, who's lyrics go beyond gang violence and fucking women. I saw Aesop live last, and besides having such insightful lyrics and such dynamic flow, he's also a damn good freestylist. Anybody here who's a fan of hip-hop, listen to this guy, and I defy you to tell me he isn't good.

Dr. Dre was in N.W.A. right? Why would he create a diss track about himself? :scared:

Geeksta Rap aka Nerdcore Hip-Hop

left acrimoniously.

Meaning he had all the talent.

I'm not so much into the politics of rap, we got enuff of that with the Idols of Hair Metal.

But I know what I like to hear

I don't listen to a lot of hip-hop, but it's probably more than most people on here :tongue2:

My favorites include Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z, Talib Kweli, Blackstar, Common, and Kanye West. And Eminem, Nas, 2Pac, Mos Def, and The Roots are really good too, but I don't like them as much as the first group (for various reasons). I know there are probably a few others that I'm forgetting.... Recently I've heard some songs on Pandora that I'll probably look into, but I don't want to make statements about how much I like a guy/group before I hear more than a song or two.

Feel free to throw more rap at me - I'm always up for more stuff.

I just downloaded Beastie Boys - Licence To Ill and it rawks.

Check out Ill Communication, it's their best.

Or I got Solid Gold Hits - and it ain't lyin'. It's back to back.

The album Integalatic is on is also unbelieveable.

If you like that try Stupid, Stupid, Stupid by Black Grape. EVeryone should have that album anyway, it should be the law.

the Grape Tapes as the funniest DVD ever.
