I like a lot of Brad Paisley's songs.

i ain't much on new country. but, man, he's a good guitar player and his songs are pretty catchy too.

he's a real big fan of James Burton, Elvis' guitarist from the TCB band. i've seen pictures of them sitting around trading licks. i've got a replica '68 Tele that's a pink paisley like Mr. Burton used. i love that guitar. Paisley's guitars are some boutique custom jobs. they look bad-ass.

also, i forget to mention the Oak Ridge Boys on my original list. i really like a few of their songs. "Y'all Come Back Saloon", "Leaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight", and "Trying To Love Two Women" spring to mind.

Can't stand today's country. Sometime in the 1980's country turned into 'rock n roll' with fiddles and steel guitars. I'll stick to the old stuff.

The Byrds started the Country-Rock thing or at least brought it to the masses.
