Love the new shit, love the old. I have no different user names, just this one. I joined today. I just came across this today looking for reviews on last night and was shocked to see both papers giving rave reviews. In fact, the free press reviewer i know personally and he hates GNR, but gave them 4 out of 5. Maybe i was too drunk, ha. In fact i know i was, haa!Listen, if you just joined, let me tell you something--there are a group of cupcakes who create new usernames like clockwork, and come on here and dog the band. I've read the accounts of every published review of the show, by major publications--reviews by REAL JOURNALISTS--all of them have concurred: Show was a kick ass event, and a great concert. So, you find it funny, that someone wouldn't believe a grammatically void moron over five major journalists who write and review music for a living? Please, save us the time!BTW, if you think the people here are the kind who think Elvis is alive, or whatever, then get a life. Most here have college degree's, very successful careers, and are quite articulate unlike yourself. You see, by noting one's ability to correctly put words together into sentences typically let's us know just how credible one is. You are striking out, and right now, the weakest link in this thread. The crowd is motionless for virtually every song. Its bizzare. I know thats the sound guys thing and not the band, but it clearly takes away from the show. And as the nighttrain video shows, nobody was into it. Are we all fucking stupid and not know what a good time is? What RUINED the show was the lack of energy from the fans. I go to an arena show and if the fans are going nuts, you go nuts as well. Golf clapping after a song, not cool. Thats why the show sucked. Why were the fans not into it? Who knows. All i know is that i left early and dissapointed. Out of the 4 shows that i have seen with this group, this was a 1 out of 5. It sucked, plain and simple and if you fuckers were there, you would have to agree. Justlike the rest of the crowd standing there waiting to rock out, which never came. Winnipeg is a hard rock town. This was just a sad night of music. The band cannot get into the show 100% if the fans are not into it 100%. Thats the bottom line. First show since before xmas, maybe some buggs had to be worked out? Whatever. You fuckheads who think the people telling it as it is is the same person are a bunch of douche bags.
