Towelie
I've never heard anything from this band, but I really dig the M. Shadows song on Slash's album, which has kinda sparked my interest. Are they any good?
plonker88
City of Evil is a great album as is their self titled one, both are well worth checking out. But the bands sound on the whole is an acquired taste, you will either love it or hate it. Edited May 9, 2010 by plonker88
Towelie
Is Nothing To Say indicative of their sound?
plonker88
In parts yeah in the sense that it's a slightly experimental track that has a fair few different parts to it. http://www.youtube.com/user/avengedsevenfold?blend=2&ob=4#p/u/9/hbFFGOv2gtgThose should give a good idea of what they're doing. Shuffle
They're alright. Not great, not terrible - just a solid band.Note: I've only heard City of Evil and their self-titled.
bt88
I cant believe everyone whos commented here hasnt even heard Waking The Fallen, aka their best album. I think this was when their sound was its most complete. Here are some of the "choice nuggets" from that disc. You must hear Waking The Fallen if youre even remotely interested in this band. its an awesome disc"Second Heartbeat"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkcjfCmlYe0&feature=relatedAnd an epic song "I Wont See You Tonight"

I Won't See You Tonight Part 1 is easily one of their best songs though. I guess I'm a fan of the slighly more modern/polished stuff. CheapJon
yeah i think they are pretty damn good, thought the self titled was too "experimental", the first 3 songs of it is a lot better than the rest
Snake Eyes
Don't really like them... but Bat Countrys a great song.

F*ck Fear
I dig em. Gonna go see them live again when they come through Toronto this summer.City Of Evil and their self titled album are the only two albums by them that I ever got into. Not a big fan of the stuff before that.
LightningBolt
I like them a bit. Not my favorite band in the world, but City of Evil is a good album. I'm not into Metalcore so I could never get into their early stuff, and the newest one is a bit boring IMO.
Lithium
They're about as enjoyable as cancer in the balls.
chevelle
They used to be a lot better than they are now. Waking the Fallen has been mentioned already, but it's an amazing album, back from when they were more focused on making music for themselves than going for a more polished sound. City of Evil has some really good songs too, though, like M.I.A., Strength of the World, and Seize the Day. The self titled isn't the greatest though, it just falls kind of flat in places. Rovim
Waking The Fallen and City Of Evil are my favorite A7X albums. There a cool band, shame about the Rev, he was a great drummer imo. (R.I.P)

Guest Satanisk_Slakt
Wasn't they one of the forebands when Axl toured in Europe '06? If they was, they really, really sucks. Both bands were horrible.
Shuffle
Yeah they were. And yes, that performance was terrible, although they were still better than Bullet For My Valentine. They're better in the studio though, and from what I've heard they've gotten better live too...
Vogstar90_G'N'R
Pretty good band, here are two completely different songs but but both are great.
sweetness
Waking the Fallen is still one of my favorite albums, mainly because for me it bridged the gap between hard rock and heavier music. They write a lot of catchy songs for a metal band and their guitarists are really talented, they're fun to listen to. People talk mad shit about them though, I never really got that. I guess they can be really corny sometimes but at the end of the day they're just a solid band and I'm glad they're still around. Its a shame their drummer passed away so young
American Psycho
Havent heard about them, can anyone recommend and song / album, is this some kind of a nu-metal band? screamo bullshit.. if it is, then no thank you. :xmasssanta:
