I think Chinese Democracy was just a way of UMG saying "Enough. You want Chinese Democracy? There you are". That's why all we got were songs that had already been leaked before. If Axl releases an album consisting of 12 year old songs, I'm gonna be mighty pissed off. If they release a new album, I want it to be fresh and relevant and I want it to come from THIS band....not a band that doesn't exist anymore.I agree mostly, but I'd take that over nothing. Prostitute is one of my favorite GNR songs ever, but he can't perform a song like that live with his current voice.
