First time I heard modern age was after my first aa meeting.

I picked that album up on 9/11. New York City Cops probably wasn't the most appropriate song for 9/11, but how was the band to know. LOL

I think Scorsese might regret the "firemen are fuckin homos" in The Departed. Maybe he regrets the entire movie tho.

Interesting direction... this is certainly them playing all over the board with their sounds as opposed to in the past where they've sort of stuck to the same sort of style on each song.

Liking the vocals a lot... this could be quite the record if the first two are anything to go off. :)

I'm not really supposed to talk about the album until it's closer to release, apparently, but I will say this: it's better than First Impressions, or at least more consistent. It's a grower. And "Life Is Simple in the Moonlight" sounds way better on the studio cut -- it's definitely one of the better tunes on the record but the SNL performance was a bit underwhelming, tbh. I think something was up with Jules' voice -- he seemed to be struggling. Maybe he's sick.
