But if I escape the world for 3 hrs and see the best rock n roll show, why not? If I could listen to Guns music on a daily basis ( and I do) why not enjoy the music live!Yup I feel the same way, every time I see the band live it is a thrill for me. Even if I were to know ahead of time that every aspect of multiple shows would be the same, from identical setlists to stage props etc, I would still want to see all the shows. Maybe it's because GNR is the only band I care about. I suppose if I liked other bands and had other options for concerts I wouldn't be as excited about GNR concerts, but there is no other band that I have an interest in paying money to see. GeetarMikey Posted July 26, 2012 Share Posted July 26, 2012 Usually, tours promote an album even if it is a Greatest Hits or whatever, but the fact that GN'R tour with not even a new single to promote is a bit sad. I know it's not a band job touring the world and earning lots of money from their perspective, but it'd be more exciting/have more meaning if they were promoting something (especially something by the new line-up) and not being a perceived "tribute band" to classic GN'R.
