Nosaj Thing
Finck was entertaining throughout the nuGuns era, he became utterly awful and unlistenable in 2006-2007.
jimb0
Most of the time the 02 voice sounded pretty much identical and sometimes worse than what he sounds like now. There are a few songs he did really well, but there are a few songs he does well now, too.But he put on a hell of a performance. I disagree. I think the 2013 vocals sound worst than the 2002 vocals (clean wise.) Because he had a lot better control of his breathing back then. When he pushes the clean voice without enough air (which he often does because he is out of breath) it sounds really bad. Not to mention he seems to drink a lot more these days and that makes his voice sound even more frail.
Gordon Comstock
The whole Columbus 2002 show is awesome, probably my favorite, or tied with Boston, MSG being third favorite. The 2002 version of KOHD is, hands down, without a doubt, the best version of the song by any GnR incarnation:

31illusions
To say the '02 line-up was the best incarnation of GN'R is just absurd. Their playing was good and they were creative people but the look of the band was just ridiculous.A guy with a bucket on his head, Finck with his goth look and a bunch of mixed matched characters that no one heard of. Put a blind fold on and change their name, thenlisten to a show from the '02 line-up......... and then they'd be one of the best bands of the 2000's. Nosaj Thing
Nothing beats original Guns. That said, nuGuns were an amazing band.
