Russel Nash
Don't know if you have seen this, but how's training those cops? How come they cannot deal with a homeless guy with a knife without kill him ?

Axl_morris
How do we know he was killed? That would be completely illigal in the UK. He posed no threat. What kind of cops are these? And why the special forces look? What sort of ammo was used, noticed the yellow firearms would indicate these weren't live rounds.

Or just for the fun of it. Hey look at Bobby, he's eating his leg while it's still warm. The homeless guy clearly is not well in his thoughts, he belongs to a psychiatric. But there it goes, if you are planing to camp somewhere in the mountains, think twice. shades
there it goes,There are enough ex military who are not wrapped that tight who are now on police forces, not saying they should be carrying guns around in charge of civil order. But they are,and many more like them in different capacities. In some ways you need these cowboys in certain situations, somebody has to be half crazy to do certain jobs.My point on this one is the same as it was on George Zimmerman,IF, someone with a gun, in any sort of authoritative capacity tells you, for whatever reason to drop what you are holding, or to get on the ground, or leave an area,or any other kind of order, that may even at the time seem unreasonable to you, just do it. You can ask questions later, report him to a higher authority, get a lawyer, even kick his "unarmed" ass at another time if that's what pleases you.But there's nothing more dangerous than adrenalin and guns, live to tell the story. shades
hey I'm not justifying this, or anything like this in any way shape or form.that was unnecessary and wrong on all levels, I think it was obvious they could have taken him down without killing him, there was like 4 of them, and a dog.But look at the press conference afterwards, they will get away with it, and they'll shoot your ass and get away with it too, don't think they won't.If you know someone sick and is out there fending for themselves, maybe try to bring them in and get them some help.
Estranged Coma
Very sad..Idk if he already had the knife out the whole time but looks to me when that German Shepard runs up on him the man gets scared and bucks up for a fight with it (shit who wouldn't) then bang bang.. Police said the guy who was calling off the dog was I'm danger? It looked The homeless man never took one step forward Edited March 25, 2014 by Estranged Coma
Axl_morris
Shiit picked the wrong time to butter his sandwhiches. After re-watching, this is a sad case of the police working within the law to the very extent, but that doesn't mean there actions were morally right. The second guy fires, purely because the first guy did. Just instict. Sort of like when you see someone yawn, you yawn yourself. The guy with the shotgun rounds should be diciplined, no need for the last 3 shots at all.I just think these guys are acting as if this is a suicide bomber, they have obviously seen to many hollywood movies, typical 9-11/everyones a terrorist fear factor here. PappyTron
American police do not take any chances - if you do not comply and they perceive you to be a potential threat then they will use lethal force and they are trained to all shoot, not just one or two of them. The saddest part is that if the dog had been injured they would get it treatment way before they got the homeless guy any.As Shades says though - if somebody has a gun pointed at you you do as they say, no matter how in the wrong they are. The time to fight battles is through a lawyer and when you are safe, not when you have weapons pointed at you. bran
What a fuckin' disgrace.yeah this is utterly disgusting, this is how police in america are going though, they will shoot you over nothing. they had flash bangs, a dog, bean bags loaded in shotguns and tazers. their is no excuse for lethal force here.
Guest NGOG
They shot him because a dead homeless man is never going to cause outcry in such a glutonous, uninvolved society like the USA. Why protect the sanctity of life when you can grease your fat fingers in chicken wings, or waddle your way into a basketball stadium? It has a tone of eugenics to it: 'Yeah it's just a weird homeless guy with a dog and a knife so that he doesn't get raped while sleeping at night; shoot em.' Ace Nova
The guy shouldn't of been shot and killed...there is no justification for the police's actions in this situation, imo. The guy wasn't even facing them when they shot him. This standstill went on for 3 hours and all the police could do after 3 hours is shoot the guy? Like others have said, what a fucking disgrace.

PappyTron
Another prime example of after a person has been shot or tazed the police are yelling "stop struggling" or "put your hands out". After you've been shot half a dozen times you are not exactly in the best condition to stop wriggling around.

They should be held accountable...at the very least, institutionalized. Edited March 26, 2014 by Kasanova King
