Axl should get EVERYONE onboard and do a Farewell Tour

Think about everything you've seen Axl do on-stage that made you mad or embarrassed in the last couple of years. That's him giving it his all. That's him happy, and getting to do everything his way. That's the best he's got.

Now imagine that same Axl half-assing it because he's pissed about being contractually forced to share a stage with Slash. IMAGINE HOW MUCH WORSE HE WOULD BE IF HE STOPPED TRYING. Then add in a brain damaged Steven Adler, and then Gilby Clarke struggling to re-learn the songs because Izzy suddenly bailed on the tour without warning because he was sick of dealing with Axl and Slash. And then remember Team Brazil would still be there.

A reunion is the worst possible scenario.

Except Gilby and Steven played fine at the HOF. But yeah, it is strange that the obvious weak link these days is Axl.

And Manets, no offence, but there is a greater likelihood of you being adopted by Team Brazil than there is of this happening.

I guess Axl would have to get both Steven and Matt.

Since Steven was out by the time Use Your Illusion 1 and 2 were out, unless he can learn to play them, Matt would have to play songs from those cds.

Getting the original 5 back for a reunion is doubtful since Steven has a drug problem and Axl doesn't talk to Slash and I don't think Izzy would want to do a whole tour.

Also in 1989? There was a practise session where they rehearsed the Use You Illusion stuff with Steven. Including stuff like bad apples. This session was recorded and in circulation. I can't recall the exact date right now, but it does exisit

Not a very good or thought out idea.... that concert would go on for hours... problem there (among many others) is that all the other musicians get to have breaks but Axl has to sing the entire set... even Axl in his prime would have not been fit for that. Logistics alone would make it almost impossible... the other problem is Slash and Axl still hate each other and Slash would likely never play on the same stage as Axl if nuGnR were anyway near... could be wrong on that last bit though!

Bring back all the members from GNR line up so far and do an unbelievable concert with 10 guitars onstage,10 bassists,5 drummers,30 guests on vocals,setlist all discography,then you can go upon your grave and that's it.

Axls right when he says the reunion that matters to people involves Himself, Slash and Duff as for the other members the majority don't care... we care a lot but we are the minority, most would be ecstatic to see Axl and Slash even if the rest of the guys weren't involved.

Axl should get every relevant musician that has ever played with Guns N' Roses and do an Ultimate Reunion™ for a Farewell Tour™. Once the idea is proposed, I find it hard to believe any of the guys would reject it. Maybe - and probably - Buckethead, but perhaps Brain could talk him into it. Each line-up obviously perform the songs released by them, and as the current line-up didn't release anything (lol) they do the covers (that's what they do already). Then everyone goes onstage for Paradise City.

The current setlist already embraces the vast majority of the GNR catalog, but of course a few things would have to be changed. If everyone had a solo spot the concerts would be gigantic, so let's let just Slash's Godfather, because it's a classic, and Buckethead doing his thing, because he's cool.

As for a new album, it would be interesting if Axl released it before the tour and played songs from it too. Or maybe later, after the tour, as a posthumous GNR album.

Sounds horrifying bloated and melodramatic. I can't imagine anyone outside of Jarmo and people of his ilk wanting to attend that tour.

If a reunion ever happens, during whatever show gets streamed/televised, Axl needs to bring out Bucket and maybe Brain and do TWAT. If Brain's there, do Shackler's too. Slash can play rhythm on 2 CD songs and Bucket can play all the solos and then they can turn Nightrain into a 10 minute epic guitar duel and say good fucking night.
