AxlsMainMan
Anybody else love Dave? The way he integrates violin, horns, and endless wind instruments into his sound is incredibly refreshing compared to the old and tired drums-bass-guitar setup that rock music traditionally offers. Here's a few vids' for those who've never properly explored his stuff:
J Dog
Some extremely talented musicians. They can mix and mash straight up rock, bluegrass, jazz, country. They are a tight group with their instruments. Good live shows, just be prepared to have every song turned into a 7 minute jam session. I just wish their albums had been more consistent. Crash and Under the Table and Dreaming are their only albums I would call really good/borderline great.

Before These Crowded Streets took a long time to grow on me, but now I love it just as much, if not more, than those two albums. These 2 tracks are probably the standouts for me:
dalsh327
It's laughable now to think about how the record company shelved the "Lillywhite Sessions" songs that eventually made it to "Busted Stuff". ESPECIALLY this one. I saw the show a few days after Leroi passed in 2008 and they opened with it. Sometimes you can tell performers are going through the motions, but I could tell this was straight from the gut when they played it and even if you hear the song again, it'll never be the same. That's awesome that you got to experience such a significant and emotional show, and I totally agree with you about the awesomeness of Busted Stuff. To me it's an infinitely better album than Everyday. Edited January 23, 2015 by AxlsMainMan

Songs of his that I'm not crazy about ironically wind up being the standouts for me at his shows. Love your 2 favorites but I don't think I could pick 2 unless I gave major thought to it.
