Tom2112 Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) It would be cool to play something that they never played or hardly ever played back in the day like THINK ABOUT YOU, Down On The Farm or Locomotive...No down on the farm... Terrible! Plus it's a cover. Let's focus our energies on getting the best of GnR original music. We all know live and let die and heavens door will be there so that covers the cover territory well enough IMO. Pretty tied up would be great, so would dust and bones, would hope that yesterday's stays put too. I don't know if we're getting too excited though, the set might be pretty similar to where we left off last. Having said that, there are obviously a lot of songs Axl wouldn't play because of stronger associations with Slash or whoever so Maybe he will be more willing to change things up. If Slash has his way, the set will be different every night. Core songs and then a couple that get rotated. For me, I just don't like when bands rely on certain songs to open and close their set. If they flip that, I'd be pretty happy; keep the audience guessing. Nothing is more boring at a concert than to know the entire set before it's even started .
