He has given us a month and a day to shoot for. That to me is progress. I think we will hit that date, or come very close to it. It's definintley better than, "It might just come out" or Rolling Stone saying November. The man himself has given us an actual DATE. This is what we've been waiting for. I also felt like that in May... and the disappointment of no album this year was a big one, so another disappointmentis on the horizon. I'm not expecting anything in March. Why should Axl be able to do what he hasn't been able to do for the last 10 years now?It's closer, closer to disaster. Axl has put himself in an all or nothing position. Bottom line is the album won't be done until Axl thinks it's done and as long as it's still a work in progress, the track record shows to bank on nothing.But hopefully this is the time... Posted December 19, 2006 Author Share Posted December 19, 2006 In regard to a release date for the album itself, certain minor - aand I do mean minor -- additions, as well as contract negotiations, need to be completed. Barring any unforeseen complications, these things have now been adequately scheduled.That to me says it. They have set aside the time (end of Dec to Jan) to finish these things. Various members have said it before, but Axl said it this time. The only thing I can see going wrong is Axl not showing up to these negotiations or minor things.
