Motherfucker

Superhero

Sunny side Up

Cone of Shame

Are all primo FNM tracks. But the rest of the album is also great. Same variety you'd expect from them. There's a depth with Seperation, Black Friday, Rise and Fall, Matador, Dead all give the album longevity. It's not all up front.

for a second I thought does SI have those high points like Stripsearch, Ashes to Ashes, Last Cup?

I see Sol as a bit more like King for a Day on its high points which are a bit faster and more aggressive.

Matador is kind of an epic masterpiece.

You got me thinking...they played Pristina a couple of minutes ago at The Warfield :P

Love the rotating setlist, it's a different experience every single show.

It's way way too early for me to say this but I can see the highs from SI passing King for me.

I think they do its like they went back to make King with Roddy more involved.

Superhero is like a new Ricochet.

I like how She Loves me not is kind of blended into a rabid King type track on Sunny side. It has that Bungle porn vibe. I'm not sure what he's thinking.

Some of it has a Tomahawk feel. There's not much rap metal.

AOTY was a pretty quality album. It seemed a bit heavier over all.

There's a lot of material. Even those tracks like the World is Yours could be played.

Not me.. New albums good, but after about 5 listens its my least favorite from the Patton era..

At this moment it's the best. It's a cute FNM album kind of giving you little capsules of what they do. It does feel a bit like a Patton solo project.

With 4 or 5 big songs its easily enough for a tour.

They could never top Angel Dust.

I always liked king for a day the best. But I don't think this is as good as album of the year even. Don't get me wrong. Even at faith no mores worst, they're still better than most. I have been listening to it daily tho. It'll probably grow on me more...

King for a Day is like their UYI. It's erratic, lots of different stuff. Great stuff to play live.

Sol is like Oddfellows but with Faith No More.

Just the 10 tracks, it's a lean machine. It seems so 2015. No need for a 15 track album when you've got so much material already. Faith or Bust.

I'd love to see edge of the world live. And the real thing. I forgot how much I fucking love that album!!

@ Black Sabbath-I totally would see them any chance I got. My probation officer won't let me leave the state. And I'm fucking heartbroken. I'm thinking about just saying fuck it anyways. Def in my top 5 favorite bands of all time..

What would be your ideal set list. I think it probably needs its own thread.

Difficult. I think Jizzlobber would need to be in there.

I'll have to think about. I know I need more Angel Dust.

Just might end up going to the Electric Factory show in Philly. Can get tickets for just under $70 right now.

Shit, since this post tickets have gone down $10. Can get some for like $60. Fuck, need to find someone to see this band with. Would love to go to this show, then the show at the Mann in Philly in August, and the show the next night in Merriweather.

EDIT: Actually, I should be living in VA by the time those other two shows come around, and Philly is too far, but think I'll be able to do the Marriweather show.
