The Dissident
Its So Easy Mr. Brownstone Chinese Democracy Welcome to The Jungle Better Live and Let Die Estranged Think About You Sorry [No Quarter Intro] Slither [Extended Intro So Axl doesnt die] You Could Be Mine This I Love Yesterdays So Fine Dead Horse Coma My Michelle Fall to Pieces Double Talkin Jive [Transition into Slash Solo] Godfather Solo [With Anastasia Teaser] Whole Lotta Rosie Paradise City [Mother Intro] Wish You Were Here [Instrumental] November Rain [Layla Intro] Nightrain Knocking on Heaven's Door [Only Woman Bleed Intro] Rocket Queen [Mid section snippets of other songs; In between verses 1&2 an instrumental verse is played similar to the Ritz in 88] Encore: Hell's Bells Civil War [Voodoo Chile Outro] Patience [Acoustic] [One in a Million Teaser Intro] Prostitute Don't Cry [Bumblfoot style intro] Sweet Child O Mine Not realistic, but decided to follow the NITL set for the beginning seeing as it works although i feel like Double talking Jive transitioning into Slash's solo works better; Encore consists of a song from all albums aside from Spaghetti Incident as well as a cover since GNR now a days loves to cover. Rocket Queen would provide them to pay tribute to some artists within their set without having to do a full on Cover aside from things aside from what the band has covered in studio or has members playing in. Made in assuming no new music has come out Edited August 29, 2017 by The Dissident
wafflehead
Ideal NITL setlist 1. Crash Diet 2. It's So Easy 3. Mr. Brownstone 4. Chinese Democracy 5. Live And Let Die (Wings cover) 6. Welcome To The Jungle 7. Double Talkin Jive (with Slash solo) 8. Godfather Solo 9. Yesterdays 10. Better 11. My Michelle or Bad Obsession or Pretty Tied Up or Back Off Bitch 12. Slither (VR cover) or My Michelle or Bad Obsession or Pretty Tied Up or Back off Bitch 14. Nightrain (with Domination outro) 15. Perfect Crime or Back Off Bitch 16. Used To Love Her or Sorry 17. This I Love 18. Estranged 19. Civil War 20. Shot In The Dark (Ozzy Osbourne cover) or Madagascar or Sorry 21. November Rain 22. Knockin On Heavens Door (Bob Dylan cover) 23. Sailing (Sunderland Brothers cover) or You Could Be Mine 24. Sweet Child O' Mine 25. Rocket Queen or Locomotive or Coma or Move To The City Encore: 26. Don't Cry 27. Patience 28. You Could Be Mine or Prostitute or Move To The City 29. Paradise City [One-Off Appearence] Coma Move To The City and Prostitute have almost never been performed live and they would both be monster anthems live. The amount of covers GNR plays live is stupid, and most of them (with the exception of the UYI covers and Black Hole Sun) are terribly performed. I replaced them with the UYI or CD songs that would be beasts live. I've always wanted to hear GNR do a cover of Shot In The Dark A one off playing of Coma after Paradise City would be probably be the most epic thing in GNR history. Crash Diet should have been on AFD Edited August 8, 2017 by wafflehead
