  1. Atlas sounds nice. It makes me feel nice.

(Axl should've released an EP or a short album of these kind of songs under his own name. Not that I don't like Chinese Democracy, but songs like Atlas, Catcher, the Blues, If the World and I.R.S. with simplistic production would've been the perfect way for him to find his solo sound and still do these epic-esque songs. Then he could've done a rock EP with Chinese Democracy, Oh My God etc. One can hope.)

  2. This new trailer looks promising. Kinda excited for this now. I just hope that they don't rely only on action and that there will be an interesting story and some sense of dread, like T1 and T2 had. That's where the previous sequels missed their mark.

I am so pissed with this band right now that I didn‘t go to Duff‘s show in Cologne on Monday. And the ticket I paid for months ago was lying right in front of me on my desk. I starred for hours at the tocket but finally said fuck it and watched TV instead. And we are talking about a show of the legendary bass player of Guns N Fuckin Roses who I was a fan of since I was nine years old (I am 39 right now) and who would play deep cuts like Dead Horse. I just couldn’t go. Would you have told me that even one year ago I would have laughed you right in the face. Sad but true.

Don't let things happening on the internet to stop you from living and doing things in the real world.

I mean, hunting and listening to these demos can be considered as a weird hobby. Some people fix their cars and some people compare wines. This is kind of the same. Like "this version of Chinese Democracy from 1999 has a smokey aroma with a hint of leather". I agree that it is silly that the management is pulling these demos down from the internet. I would understand if they were going to release a box set with these, but they aren't.

But, come on, don't purposely miss seeing your favorite artists (especially when you already had a ticket), they won't be here forever.

Sorry for the rant, and I hope I didn't sound too disrespectful. All the best, cheers! :)

  4. Basically sums up my feelings. I'm eager to see the upcoming Spider-Man movie, because Tom Holland just nails that role, and I hope down the line we get Guardians of the Galaxy with Thor, but other than that... meh.

Enjoyed the solo movies of Doctor Strange, Black Panther and especially Captain Marvel, which was a fun action movie, a kind of palate cleanser before the Endgame, but I'm not really interested in seeing more of them.

I'm quite happy how the Infinity Saga ended and I think this could be a good time to get off the train, so to speak.

  5. I was excited for this, but not really feeling the teaser. Can't possibly be worse than Genisys, so there's at least that. I just hope that they remember that T1 and T2 were suspenseful movies first, action films second (T1 especially was almost like a horror movie at times). And the story was always the main point.

With Cameron and Hamilton back on board, I remain cautiously optimistic about this.

The CGI is bad, but it usually is on the first teasers. There's plenty of time to improve it. I'm mainly worried about the story.

I've never checked out Duff's solo stuff. Anyone care to point me in the direction of his best work?

Loaded's albums Dark Days and The Taking are very good. The EP Wasted Heart is also worth checking out, the song No More is a gem.

When it comes to purely solo albums: his officially unreleased record Beautiful Disease is pretty darn good. The album Believe in Me, sans the song 10 Years, is utter shit.

FOR ME ITS NOT ROCK N ROLL

    - to charge tickets "VIP Experience" for 700 EUR where you don t even meet one band member!  whats the point - apart GREED - in selling such tickets?

At least if you paid 900 EUR to Ozzy you could meet Ozzy. GNR only takes money; in exchange you get what?: to see the stage?, wow;  a lanyard, wow again, foto books, come on it s not worth more than 50 USD to stamp that)

Sorry for condensing your post, but I just wanted to chime in my two cents.

I actually think that the Guns' VIP Experience is a lot more 'honest' than a pricey meet'n'greet. You pay for being treated like a VIP, not for meeting some person. Like, you can buy experiences, but not people.

But to each to their own :)
