Wow, this morning I checked markplaats (A sort of E-bay) For Ac/Dc related items, and 5 items were found. Now there are 247 items. Fuck those people .
-
i got my tickets for the rotterdam show
For heavens sake HOW?! The Ticketmaster thing is a complete disaster. I'm still trying.
Indeed.
I finally got through, tried to order tickets for best places available, but there were none left .
Edit: And yes, it's officially sold out according to mojo

Cool pics man. I'm still waiting for mine.
-
Roger Taylor's drum solo is fantastic. And I'm usually bored with them after a minute.
Yeah, that was pretty cool. He started with one piece of his drumkit, played a little, they added another piece, and at the end of his solo he was sitting behind a full drumkit at the front of the walkway from the stage.
Brian's guitar solo (Last horizon) was amazing too.
-
SC, did they have an opener?
No

Saw them last tuesday in Rotterdam and they were awesome. I really like Paul's voice, and he does the songs justice in his own way. Most reviews I read here from the show are very positive.

I love how he's not trying to be Freddie, but does the songs his own way. And he does a great job with them.
Can't wait for the album and their concert here in october.
-
The album is awesome. Metallica is back .
Best Metallica album in years.
The Judas Kiss is my favourite track so far.
-
Great song. 117 degrees is my favourite Izzy album.
I think Gotta Say is the best song from the album, but this is also really great.
-
I love the first single, and they were awesome when I saw them live.
Can't wait for the album.

You can listen to Cornell's new song here:

(scroll down the page to audio)
So he cancelled his European tour for this crap ?
I can't believe this is the guy who made Superunknown.
-
That was amazing.
Do you know the setlist of the first night?
-
the big fat blues giant from New York
I never heard of him before, but he was performing in a club five minutes from my home last night. So I went to see him. And it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. He's a really big guy, but a great guitarist. Played a 2 hour show, without a break for one second. Played a lot of his own material, but also some Jimi Hendrix and Black Sabbath covers.
You can listen to some songs here:
Popa Chubby Myspace You can find a great version of the godfather theme here
And his website:

I also got a signed CD from him.
So anyone else who knows/likes him?

1. Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction
2. Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
3. U2 - Joshua Tree
4. Elan - Street Child
5. Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run
-
Love both albums. But AFD is my favourite album ever.
-
Damn, he was still young. Such a shame.
R.I.P.
-
I got my tickets for Queen + Paul Rodgers today. Can't wait to see them. From the DVD I've got they seem really great.
-
No, nobody can replace Freddie. I like how Paul doesn't try to sound like Freddie, but sings the songs in his own way. And he does a great job with them. I wouldn't want someone who is tryin to imitate Freddie.
-
It seems he's going to be at Rock in Rio on the 6th of July, too!
Also at Fields Of Rock in Holland.
-
I'll see him at Pinkpop festival in Holland, where he is now confirmed too. With Metallica, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Floggin Molly, The Verve and many more they really have a great line-up this year.
