Wow, really impressive.
Only two more weeks before I'll see them.

The Unforgettable Fire is my favourite U2 song. It would be awesome if they play that.

Wow, pretty heavy story behind the song.
I love the song, it's really sad.
The best song he has written in a while. Definately better than anything from Scream.

YES!!!!!!
I got my tickets for Amsterdam. I can't believe we got through. The online ticket service from mojo is terrible.

I was a bit dissapointed with their album. It has a few good tunes, but nothing really memorable.
Their live show on the other hand is amazing. Saw them last year, and it definately was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I really liked what Paul did with the songs, without trying to imitate Freddie.
-
I'm gonna try to get tickets for the Amsterdam show. But they'll probably sell out in a few minutes.
Same here.
Despite the crappy location and the horrible ticket prices.
I stand corrected on the tickets - 55 euro's for field tix.
Yeah, and the cheapest tickets are only € 30,-.
But what do you get for € 150,-? A place on the stage?
AC/DC, Bruce Springsteen, maybe U2. It's gonna be a great music year for me .

I love How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. For me it's my favourite U2 album since The Joshua Tree.
No Line on the Horizon has a few great songs. But I only listened to it a few times, so maybe the rest needs to grow on me.
-
I think it's better than Magic, and I really liked that album. The Wrestler is the best song Bruce has done in years. Kingdom of Days and Outlaw Pete are some other of my favourites.
And I can't wait to see Bruce live at Pinkpop Festival in may.

Now I just act like I don't remember
Mary acts like she don't care
Is a dream a lie if it don't come true
Or is it something worse
Both from Bruce Springsteen - The River
Yes, I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is
To see you
Bob Dylan - Positively 4th Street

According to Skiddle, late QUEEN singer Freddie Mercury, who sold 300 million records before he died in November 1991 of bronchopneumonia induced by HIV, has been voted the ultimate "rock god."
Ozzy Osbourne came sixth in the survey of 4,000 rock fans by Internet market research web site OnePoll.
A spokesman for OnePoll said: "Everybody loved Freddie Mercury. His theatrical performances onstage were incredible and set him apart from other rock stars. He combined his ear for music with an ability to deliver to stadium audiences across the world, and as such millions of fans were devastated when HIV finally killed him in 1991.
"The list of top 20 'rock gods' is a diverse mix of front men, guitarists and performers. There are some legendary acts in the list, but it's also good to see that modern day artists such as Dave Grohl earn respect from rock fans."
Top 20 "Rock Gods", according to OnePoll:
01. Freddie Mercury (QUEEN)
02. Elvis Presley
03. Jon Bon Jovi (BON JOVI)
04. David Bowie
05. Jimi Hendrix (THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE)
06. Ozzy Osbourne (BLACK SABBATH)
07. Kurt Cobain (NIRVANA)
08. Slash (GUNS N' ROSES)
09. Bono (U2)
10. Mick Jagger (THE ROLLING STONES)
11. Axl Rose (GUNS N' ROSES)
12. Dave Grohl (FOO FIGHTERS)
13. Jim Morrison (THE DOORS)
14. Paul McCartney (THE BEATLES)
15. Steven Tyler (AEROSMITH)
16. Robert Plant (LED ZEPPelin)
17. Brian May (QUEEN)
18. James Hetfield (METALLICA)
19. Jimmy Page (LED ZEPPELIN)
20. Bruce Dickinson (IRON MAIDEN)

Paul is awesome. Saw him live twice, once solo and one time with Queen. The guy has an amazing voice and a great stage presence.
And I'm glad he doesn't try to be Freddie, but does the Queen songs his own way. And he really does them justice.
-
Cool, you're doing a great job.
Congratulations man.

Hi Axl,
You stated in several interviews in the past that you couldn’t see yourself playing with other people and still see it as Guns N’ Roses. What made you change your mind and do you think you would have kept the name if you and the former members broke up on better terms with eachother?

At the moment: Consolers of the Lonely by The Raconteurs.
Bruce Springsteen thread

Saw him in Rotterdam in 2003 and at Pinkpop festival this year.
Bruce is amazing. One of the best performers in the world.
Nobody is so good in interacting with the crowd.
Definately one of the best shows I've ever seen.
