Yup. The leaks were awesome. Leaks or the potential axl finally plays a new song are the only reason I check this place. At the time I listened to them because I figured there was a decent chance we'd be waiting over 2 years for the album anyhow...

2006 was the last time the band seemed like a beast. Not sure who was added or who left but the raw hard rock organic feeling is gone.

I know it's ashba. I was trying to watch the pro shot of 2012 HOB Chicago yesterday to relive the show. During the end of jungle-best part- camera followed ashba as he turned his guitar upside and started frolicking around. Axl nails the end of the song and all I could do is sigh and say "aw god damn it ".

Id still travel 90-110 miles to see him. And I think the last couple shows were good. I also think he's good enough to check the forum for any possible updates several time a week.

I think he's just kind of a scaredy hiding behind the title of perfectionist.

Cuz when some one has positive feedback on this forum it's newsworthy.

I think in the past, we knew there was still time. Now we are seeing it's all lost. My personal outlook has been much more negative. And I'm about to quit visiting Sites like this. I probably already would have if the leaks never happened. Seems like the only chance at ever hearing a new song will be some one posting a link on a forum before the link is removed.

I've had to travel for every show I went to. The one in my home town was canceled in 06. I was seriously thinking about going to the show in Ohio but I'm not excited enough about the show to go. If they played within 90 miles of me id still go tho

As we know, Axl resents being strongarmed into doing something. There is absolutely no way Rock Fuel would have attempted such a crazy ploy.

They wouldn't have announced anything unless GNR management and Interscope had approved every detail..

After the voice, what really makes an impression on me is the energy and aggressiveness of rose in the 09 shows. Does anyone who attended the Vegas shows have an opinion about his stage presence for this residency

Right. If it's not three new songs and they consider a song from the old lineup a new addition to the set it will be more evidence the new gnr experiment failed.

I was drunk at the Minneapolis show in 2006 and they played down on the farm. In the first 15 seconds I thought it was a new song. My buddy was just like, it's down on a farm ya idiot. Anyhow who cares of they play that song

It's beating a dead horse but wow was 2010 a good singing period. He had to have made an adjustment and decision to stop singing that way
