  1. following Blackstar's link I found a lot of hilarious eighties bands, I don't know if I should say "thank you Blackstar" or if I should curse her
  2. whaaaat??? my favorite band is doing soooomethiiiiing??? must be shit, because it's my favorite band
  3. the word "usually" doesn't apply in GNR world you should know that. yup it smells Midjourney all along
  4. good or bad, he chose this situation himself: he judged that he needed an adoptive family to structure himself, and escape significant psychological problems, it is certainly not up to us to say if it's right or wrong. I would have reservations if it was proven that he's addicted to substances that would blur his judgement of what is good for him or not, but that's not the case here. Axl is not Brian Wilson, and if he can joke about it himself by quoting some fans comments, it seems to me to be enough proof that everything is fine. that said, his inclination to believe the new age bullshit of people who can read "auras" in photos or crystals, "reincarnation" and that kind of stuff, always amazes me a bit and if there are things a little borderline in his life I would say that we have to look in that direction. at least they're not scientologists.
  5. I like Ron, very direct person from what I know, down to earth, very talented guitarist obviously, good singer too, and if one of the guys in the band had the right to say shit about GNR it's him, given the way he was treated by the others. they acted like dicks and they had to deal with the consequences. on the other hand I feel he has a propensity to play a role but I imagine it's his way of protecting himself and we all have masks. what I could sense from his relationship with Axl was that he hoped for unconditional support and probably also a kind of esteem that never really comes to the level he hoped for. as he said one time, "friend sometimes and an enemy at other times", these are strong words, especially the word enemy, particularly when it refers to your boss... there's also the fact that all these musicians who came and went were all hoping for the same role: to become Axl's inseparable complement in terms of songwriting, something he never really had except with Izzy, and to a much lesser extent with Paul. Ron is no different from the others at this level and I think he may have suffered refusals at this level, or at least experienced the impossibility of overcoming his status as replacement guitarist. that post is way too long
  6. the whole thing generates a lot of online articles so it's good publicity for Extreme, plus they have their name associated to GNR which is always nice
  7. “I’m a passionate guy” is the new “I’m a douche” we certainly won't see Extreme opening for GNR anytime soon
  8. Fortus just answered on Instagram that he "prefers to drink his beer alone and play the Get The Funk Out solo at the same time."
  9. oh, they will, Trump is dictator's best friends. but at what price? back to GNR : it Trump is elected, do you think he would compose nicely with all the people, in politics or in culture, who publicly stands against him? I mean, in the kind of regime he wants for USA, opponents are thrown in jail.
  10. if Trump is re-elected there will be no new album under his dictatorship
  11. he swallowed his upper lip a little and by the time it came down on his teeth... maybe that's why he doesn't laugh too much, that fucking upper lip
  12. pff yeah man, we can't sexualy assault ladies anymore, where did freedom go? what a shitty world!
