  1. Actually, yes, we do. Seating flooring actually doesn't have any sitting involved, as pointed out a thousand times by people in this thread. It just gives you separation from getting molested. Sorry I'm not into that maybe others are but yeah.. It's actually better. USA!

No. It's not. And is actually a huge reason to not bother with US concerts usually. Unless you know someone who can hook you up with front row tickets.

Quoting this just because I think it's rad as hell that so many forum members are going to these shows!

Yeah. And it would be even more rad if everyone would also state where they are coming from, as very certainly only a few of us are from Las Vegas.

  3. Yeah exactly. Maybe some Europeans just don't like it because once again America got it right..?

On a side note, the vip packages look appealing.

No. You don't. At least in Europe everyone gets a shot at front row and doesn't have to pay hundreds of dollars to scalpers because you couldn't get the front row ticket. You stand in line for an hour or two, run a bit and are in front. Also you can move to the left or right to see something and don't risk having to stand behind a 6 ft 5 guy blocking your view. There is nothing good about seated floor unless you're lucky enough to get that front row ticket, which still costs you several times as much as the usual standing, unless it's in Vegas, of course. Looking forward to Europe. Front row for 90 $.

  4. Instead of just listing who's coming, wouldn't it be more fun to also list where everyone is coming from? I got tickets for the first night (I do plan to get one for the second one too) and I'm flying in from Austria.

  5. Like, in my dreams the intro before Sweet Child is back, the piano song before November Rain is back, the rants before Double Talking Jive and Live And Let Die are back. I guess I want it to be the Illusion tour again and I'm setting myself up for massive disappointment.

As much as we all love the UYI tour, wouldn't that be kind of phony and ridiculous, if they just pretend and act like during the UYI tour?

  6. The crazy thing is I thought I wanted seats in the lower sections so when the Nightrain sale started I couldn't get in for 20 min then panicked and got the vip section to work and went down to the cheapest option and said screw it atleast I'll have tickets somewhere, I felt cheated by the price bc I only wanted the ticket but now looking at it I'll be on the floor and get early admission...oddly things fell into place. I can't wait to be there.

I hope my story doesn't bother those that missed out on the tickets they want, it was just crazy that this show wasn't announced that long ago, we knew very little about the arena so I feel like a lot of us went into that first sale in shock at the options and what we really planned on doing. The last thing I wanted was to be on the floor among the chaos, but now I couldn't imagine getting a seat. Maybe I'll regret that later but all in all this is going to be awesome.

If you happen to regret it, I'll give you my number and you can call me and we make a switch halfway through the show. p-) ;-)

  7. Most of my friends don't really get why I'm so pumped about these shows. I waited 23 years for this. I only know a few of you in real life but it's nice to have people who are as excited as I am. While I am going alone to Vegas I won't feel alone at the shows.

I hear ya man, my girlfriend is just shaking her head... in a loving way... she's excited as she can be for me but completely does not understand forking over all the cash for the ticket. I haven't been this pumped since the hammerstein shows! Its going to be awesome to share the experience with so many other people who can appreciate the historic nature of these nights!!

Yeah. It's gonna be awesome. I mean I had goosebumps in Hammersmith in '06 when Axl was standing 5 ft away from me screaming "D'you know where the fuck you are" 13 years after I've seen him last, but this time to have Slash and Duff (and Izzy and maybe Steven) there too. Beyond epic.

  8. ^^Yeah, me too. Also coming from Europe. Will be in Vegas from 8th until 10th and going to Grand Canyon before. Any recommendations for GC?

Get a helicopter from the strip. Did that three years ago and it was awesome.

Yeah. I heard about that. Sounds cool. Isn't it expensive though? Well, we can't do that anyway, since we're coming from Phoenix (but maybe on my next trip). L.A., Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas. I need to check out Alice Cooper'stown in Phoenix. ;-)

Hiring bicycles is a good way. I think you can do that once there (2nd hand knowledge)

Yeah. Maybe better than walking. We walked down from Stratosphere to the Luxor hotel the last time. Were sweating like pigs. Way too hot.

If that's for Premium Economy, I say go for it, so much more comfortable than cattle class, the flight is nearly 11 hours long! £300 for 5 nights sounds amazing!

That's a real thing?? I got that too, from London with BA, have no idea what it means though.

  9. did everyone who wanted tickets manage to get them?

Rarely the ones we really wanted but I believe so.

Indeed. I'm beyond excited that I'll be in the GA half of the floor on the first night, but I'm just happy to be anywhere in the building on the second night.

    Fuck I'm excited! :headbang: :headbang:

You bought VIP or got a regular ticket?

  10. Terms say...

Enter the first six (6) digits of your Citi® credit card or Citibank Debit MasterCard account number (no dashes) located on the front of your Citi card. Offers only available to Citi credit cardmembers and Citi Debit MasterCard customers. Citi and Citi with Arc Design are registered service mark of Citigroup, Inc.

So, you only had to use it to get into the presale.

It's pretty obvious that you have to be a cardmember for the offer to be valid. So should they check, whether you actually own a CitBank card, you are fucked. But most likely they won't. I also bought a ticket once for 15 bucks cheaper and used a motoristclub member code I found on the internet and no one bother to check whether I'm an actual member. Too much hassle, I guess.

  11. Got another one Section 204, but right under the roof for 230? No thanks. But really, what is this shit, that you have to go back into the waiting room, when you don't want the ticket offered? Fuck that shit.

Edit: Damnit, with P4 and 5 gone, my option for a security blanket is gone. Will go to Vegas and see what happens. At least I got night 1.

  12. Who here thinks better tickets will be available tomorrow? Especially in the P2, P3 and P4 areas

definitely not me, if there are very little left in this pre-sale, and almost nothing left in the Citi presale, there is going to be very little or nothing left on the public on-sale

They can't have nothing left on the on-sale date, that's he official date communicated everywhere, that's when regular people who don't spend their life here will show up.

Plus, it looks like GA have never been on pre-sale outside the VIP packages.

Of course they can. For the Rolling Stones in Germany '14 they had two pre-sales (one on Eventim and one on Ticketmaster) and sold out all tickets in pre-sale, so they cancelled the previously advertised and announced general onsale because there were no tickets left. Really, they can and will do whatever the fuck they want, as long as they make a shitload of money.

This is a joke. Might as well keep my ticket, which has an added $100 in value on AXS, and is worth more than double according to stubhub.

Losing mad respect for Slash and Duff on this one... Didn't have any left for Axl anyway

I don't think they have any control on the section's prices...

They demand 3 mio per show. Somehow that money needs to be generated. And obviously they don't care to put a cap on what tickets officially are supposed to cost.

  13. I'm cool with $80 ($100 after fees) or $125 ($150 after fees) even though none were even put on sale today. I get supply and demand but for AXS to jack up the price by $100 today on their non-premium site is complete bullshit.

Yup, there are 2000 tickets up on stubhub for each show already.. Most of the tickets sold were to scalpers.. I hope they get stuck with them..

Or AEG are scalping them on their own. They did sell their own tickets at inflated prices on Viagogo for the Michael Jackson O2 shows.

  14. This whole reunion is getting pretty sour... From Pitman to the ticket prices and everything in between.

To be fair the band doesn't set the ticket prices.

If they demand/accept 3 mio per gig then yes, they do set those prices. And if they don't put a cap on ticket prices, like other, more conscious acts do, then they are the ones to blame for those prices.
